A/N: Whew… I stared at my screen blankly… Thinking. Though Nino’s standing rite here rite now rite in front of my door, proposing me in the most romantic way that I’ve ever knew. I would say NO. Sorry. I have no heart for him which is means that I WON’T – neither WILL NOT nor WANT NOT- own him. Not that I hate him –I won’t write any fan fiction about him if I hate him. I like him. He’s cute, surely. But my hubbies are way more more more and more cute XDD
And... Sorry for the unoriginality of it all. I just had to write this fantasy I had, or I would go ballistics.

Nino was sitting on the couch in the living room, an open book resting in his lap as his eyes were going across one of the pages. One of his hands held a toothbrush. He didn’t brush his teeth with it, just sucked it as if it was a lollipop. He was so wrapped up in the book he was reading and the toothbrush he was sucking that he failed to hear his lover approached into the living room. He only realized that he was no longer alone when he heard the soft yet cute voice of his lover behind him.

“Ne, Ninocchi...”


“Whaht?”


Nino said as he turned slightly to look at his lover who was standing behind the couch. Ai pouted, two mugs being held carefully in her hands. He turned around after that and picked up his book again. He moved his toothbrush to another side as he sifted a bit from the cozy couch to find comfortable position. She set her own down on the table before she took a seat on the couch next to Nino. She gently tossed another mug onto the table.

“Kazuppon, you love tooth-brush that much, eh?” Ai questioned, her eyes were shining with curiosity. It’s weird to see someone sucking at toothbrush, isn’t it? These months he took a liking to sucking toothbrush. She’d asked Nino before why did he like to suck toothbrush and all he said was no reason.

Another smile found its way onto Ai’s face and he spoke after a few moments of just looking at his lover. “Whahthifhaisheiyesh?”

“Fine then…” Ai said as she silently moved towards the other end of the couch and held the mug in front of her face, annoy plainly seen on her face. Nino smiled and placed the bookmark that had been sitting on the arm rest of the couch in the book and closed it. He took off his toothbrush and put it right beside the book that he just read.

“Ai...” He said standing up and moving closer to where Ai was sitting huddled on the other end of the couch, sipping her chocolate.

Nino took a seat next to Ai and reached out to put one of his hands behind Ai’s neck, and looked right into her eyes.

“Nande?” Ai questioned looking at her boyfriend who was sitting in front of her, with a neutral expression on his face.

Without another word Nino gently pulled Ai’s head forward and gently pressed their lips together. When the kiss ended, Nino removed his hand from behind Ai’s neck, and instead moved to take one of Ai’s hands into his own.

He smiled at his lover before saying, “Ai-chan, I think I have to tell you why I love toothbrush so much… ”

“Tell me…” she demanded.

“Well… You know… Uhm…”


“I don’t know. Just tell me…”


“Okay…”


Ai waited, but no word came. Ai raised her eyebrows mockingly.


“Uhm… I’m just a normal guy with hormones. I have no idea why the hell on earth everytime you near me I felt like I want… Need… To… Uhm...”


“What?”


“Can’t you just know it from what I did to you these months?” he asked desperately, half pleading.


“I don’t know. What was that? What do you mean by you ‘want-need-to-uhm’?”


“Holly God in Heaven, Aicchi… I felt like I want to kiss you! And I need to kiss you! I crave for your touch! I was so nervous that I cleaned my teeth before every kiss. But it’s turned too complicated. I couldn’t rush into bathroom to brush my teeth every time I terribly horribly desperately want to kiss you. That’s why I keep on sucking a toothbrush. Satisfied?!”


Ai’s mind suddenly went blank.


What?


“Baka… Seriously, Kazunari Ninomiya-sama you’re a baka. How old are you? 8? 9? 10? You can chew mint gum or something else instead suck on toothbrush. I almost believe that you’ve banged your head and became a retarded as result.”


“Ne, I’m so stupid. But… I can’t help my self, Aicchi…” He looked straight at his girlfriend and smiled, “Aishiteru… Aishiteruaishiteruaishiteruyo…”

Ai looked away to hide her blush. She couldn’t help but blush whenever Nino would say that word. She could never get angry at Nino whenever he said that word, because she knew he was saying it out of genuine love. When she looked back, Nino had put on the toothbrush and sucked it nervously. A soft giggle heard from her. She brought her hand up to take away the toothbrush from Nino’s mouth.


“Did you change the toothbrush everyday? Or it’s the same toothbrush from yesterday and the days before?” Ai said raising her gaze up to Nino’s smiling face.


“Don’t be silly… I care about dentals hygiene so much. Of course I change it everyday. Check on my trash bin, you’ll find a dozen of used toothbrushes.” Nino said quietly as he wrapped his arms around her, then pulling back enough so he could lean down and gave her a light kiss.


“That will be okay, then…” Ai leaned up and placed a soft kiss on Nino’s lips. When she pulled back, she had a tiny hint of blush on her cheeks but she tried to act as if it wasn’t there. Nino just grinned and leaned down, replying to Ai’s kiss with one of his own.


“Ne, Ai-chan...”


“What?”


“There’s one more thing I have to tell you…”


“Ne?”


“Actually, rather than suck on toothbrush, I prefer your lips…”
