Nick likes to stand out in a crowd and he loves attention, whether it's good or bad. He often does anything for it, and it sometimes includes problems with the law. He's not really into serious long term relationships at the moment, although that could all change when he meets the perfect girl, or guy. He prefers one night stands or just a fling, and most of his relationships only last a maximum of a month as he likes to have some variety in his love life. Nick is fairly musical, as he can play the guitar and drums quite well - these being some of the few things he actually sticks with - and he would like to make a band with his friends. He is quite playful and jokey, and often his jokes are taken offensively as he thinks everyone else will find them funny although they are quite hurtful at times.

Nick has black hair that is swept across his face and is usually quite spikey at the back, he has brown eyes and is quite short for his age. He tends to wear dark blue or black jeans with a button-up black or white shirt that usually has the top couple of buttons undone and it it never tucked in. He also wears a colourful tie that is normally very loose and just hangs across hhis chest, his shoes are black Converse with bright shoe laces that drag along the floor as they are never tied up properly. Mostly he wears his sister's black eye liner, but it isn't very thick, but noticeable never the less.

He was born in New York to a normal family, his sister was 2 when he was born and she always tried to teach him things - like new words and how to walk. Although they both grew apart as they got older, they still help each other if they get into serious trouble. He is one of the few people who knows of Ellie's secret, and he supported her throughout it. When his sister started smoking, he occasionally stole a few cigarettes and had them for himself - however he would never touch her drugs, as he didn't want to get into that. Almost everything he knows, was taught to him by his sister - like playing the guitar and drums.
