General

1. Always be your own character(s)
2. Never control others characters. No moving other characters.
3. Always proof read your work before replying
4. Write in 3rd person... Instead of saying "I walked into the
woods" Write "She walked into the woods"
5. Try your best at writing in past tense.
6. Keep swearing (In Character) to a minimum. No Swearing (OOC:)
7. No killing off other characters unless you get permission
8. No abrieviations(lol, unless you type OOC aka out of character)
9. NO SPELLING MISTAKES(Please spell check before posting)
10. Have respect for others
11. At the end of a Thread put END, just to let people know.
12. Allies CANNOT go to Heaven or Hell unless the die!
13. No bacchaes... I can't stand them, sorry but please none of them.

Avatar and Signatures

All characters must have an avatar and signature. To choose one please go to Canon Claim (For canon characters) or go to Celebrity Claim (For original characters) and post a reply stating your character and whom you want. If you have not been accepted you will be placed on the reserved list and once you're accepted your celeb will be placed on the taken celeb board.

Now, avatars can be a maximum of 130(w)x205(l). Signatures can be a maximum of 15.2(cm)(w)x8.85(cm)(l). The reason for the restriction is because people whom have dial up do not want to wait for large images to load.


Original Characters

Now let's talk about the made up characters AKA Original Characters. I think they are amazing. Made ups bring a whole new spin on the story and bring a lot of creativity to the RPG. I do suggest that many of you also create one if you want another character. I am actually thinking of making one myself.

Anyways, we do have some rules about made ups.

1. All originals may only have up to a maximum of three(3) weapons. One (1) main weapon (sword, staff, etc), and two (2) defending weapons (knives, crossbow, etc).

2. Do NOT make them invinsible. No one is invincible. Even Xena herself has emotions and is not perfect all the time. Please keep this in mind.

Fight Scenes

XWP has a lot of action/ fighting scenes and we don't want to take that away do we? But of course we don't want to fight against someone that doesn't fight fair.

1. NO GODMODDING Here is an exaple of a good piece: Xena fell to the ground losing grip of her sword. She hopped to her feet, grabbed her knife and dashed towards Callisto, her sword trained on Callisto's stomach.

Bad piece: Xena fell to the ground, losing grip of her sword. As Callisto ran towards her Xena grabbed Callisto and smashed her into the wall. Callisto screamed in pain.

If you want your character to actually get hurt use what the other character has posted. For example: XENA: Xena fell to the ground losing grip of her sword. She hopped to her feet, grabbed her knife and dashed towards Callisto, her sword trained on Callisto's stomach.

CALLISTO: Callisto dodged Xena's sword but accidentally cut her bare arm... ETC.

2. No being invinsible. I hate doing fight scenes with people that make their characters do everything perfectly. Let your character get knocked down, lose their sword, get hurt. The password is Bard

AND THE NO NOs

1. Do Not disrespect the admins, mods, etc. you will get a warning
2. If you continue you get a three (3) day suspension
3. If you continue again you get a month suspension
4. And if you continue again you will be banned
