Group: Moderator Posts: 323 Member No.: 4 Joined: 26-January 07	I came from the Cardiologist & not doing so good...atrial fibrillation is what he called it I am already pacemaker dependent because they misdiagnosed me back in 98 & burned a hole in my heart, burned out the wrong node. & now my hearts pounding on my chest again. I had contacted Mayo Clinic via email to talk to my doc there & hope my insurance pays for me there. I will keep you updated.

Goddess of War and Wisdom Group: Canon Posts: 50 Member No.: 43 Joined: 3-August 08	If you're not on blood thinners already, you should probably get on them. I think the biggest trouble with AF is the increased stroke risk from clotting. Hopefully the docs can get you back on a normal rhythm again soon.

Group: Moderator Posts: 323 Member No.: 4 Joined: 26-January 07	They had advised me of the potiential stroke soooo instead of taking meds because of the fact the closest hospital is 30 miles from where I am whom can stop the bleeding if I was to get cut they advised to drink an alcoholic beverage once daily.
