]He smiled softly, containing any urge to laugh. So if she'd just wander, perhaps he'd simply stay here, help her a bit more. Besides, she was doing that.. puppy pout thing girls always did. That was one of the worst things you could do to Ronnie when he wanted to leave. So, he sighed. ''Mmk, I'll stay then.'' He turned his head, watching her doodle and closed his eyes. Shae really couldn't concentrate for very long, could she?

''Well, alright then.'' The very last bit was gnawing at him. She was right, he should be more confident. Rarely would he do anything out of character, rarely would he get up and stand up for something. Man, he was bogus. He was just that shy kid, quiet. ''Confidence.. haven't found that yet..'' Ronnie murmured softly, biting his lip and looking at Shae. ''Donno, I just don't have any. And thanks, I think, for that backhanded compliment and suggestion there.''

"Yeah, your welcome." Shae grinned slightly. "I didn't mean it to be rude but it really is the truth. You just sort of .. blend into the background. No offence." She wasn't saying it to make him feel bad, Shae genuinely wanted him to try a bit. The blonde girl liked to think of herself as a sort of agony aunt, even though people rarely took her sometimes misleading advice.

"Seriously, you should just go up and talk to people more often. Not about homework though, like you did with me." Shae never really had a problem with starting random conversations, in fact around someone she really liked, the confident girl tended to overshare. An embarassing trait, she had to say.
