Personality: She can be secretive, especially when asked about her fighting skills, she is a good leader who’s wiling to listen to her people, she has strange mannerisms sometimes, and nasty nightmares which occasionally cause her to wake screaming. She is a happy outgoing person most of the time.

Personal history:

Born on some uninhabited planet in the Alpha quadrant that had some ruins of an alien race that were “amazing” and apparently “very significant” although to Alex they’d always looked like rubble. She never did share her parents love for piles of stones and dirt, though she did as a child enjoy playing in the dirt, mudpies were her favourite.

With her two older brothers, she grew up following their parents on whatever dig they were on. Thus Alex got to see more of the Alpha Quadrant than most children. As she grew older she did start enjoying helping her parents out on these digs especially the ones on warrior races.

When she was Fifteen she disappeared on one of these digs near the Klingon Empire, everyone looked for her but she couldn’t be found. She did come back three days later, she was fine if hungry. The only thing that appeared to have changed was her eyes were no longer brown they were an ice blue/grey. She was allowed to keep the strange looking Bat’leth she had found the day before her disappearance and she still carries it with her now. She claims to have no memory of what happened to her and there seemed to be no adverse effects.

Though it has been noted she speaks an ancient language no one knows, that sounds a little similar to Klingon, when she’s sleeping and having those dreams or when she’s fighting and not paying attention to what she is saying.

When she was old enough she went to university back on Earth to become an archaeologist like her parents. She then went on to complete a PhD. But she just wasn’t satisfied with digging in dirt anymore she wanted something else so she joined Starfleet Academy. With her combat skills as well as her academic skills she joined special ops, her knowledge and PhD aiding her in her missions which were mainly investigating artefact smugglers.

She was eventually offered the XO position on a new type of starship the USS Stryker. She served under two different Captains there and was promoted to Commander. While she was in acting command she made the decision to use the ship to destroy one of the dreadnoughts during the Battle of Midway. She successfully got all the crew off before it blew up.

After a few weeks of well deserved RnR Alex was transferred to the Monarch-A where she hopes to make a new life away from the disasters of the Stryker.

While on the Stryker she met and fell for its spec ops commanding officer Chris Wulf. They were married recently while on DS9 just before they were transferred to the Monarch. Alex is currently 18 weeks pregnant with their first child who Wulf is sure will be a girl although Alex has no idea how he knows this.
