Welcome to The Space Between! [TSB] We aren't a new site, but after a long death, we finally came back to life and are now working on getting everything straigtened out, organized and active. We're post-potter, but obviously this site was up before the Deathly Hallows came out, so our plot is a it of AU, I suppose. We're fun and friendly, so go post in the damn c-box, find a character and have some good old-fashioned fun!

&& The space betweenTwenty years after the great battle between the Dark Lord and Harry Potter, the ministry finds itself in a bit of a pickle. Though Voldemort is long dead, his supporters have all but vanished. There are murmurs of a new leader amongst them, and worse still, there seems to be a rat in the grain. There are Death Eaters in the ministry somewhere, letting out things that the public ought not to hear and using secrets to their advantage. However weak these Death Eater are, what with the lost of their Lord, they are getting support from inside the ministry, and that has to count for something. Co-workers are pitted against co-workers and no one can find the spies. Needless to say, the ministry is in an uproar, it's a hard job, keeping silent the internal purges.
Azkaban is quite another story. Seething with murderous Death Eaters who got themselves caught, and people who've been detained for far too long, it would seem odd that the only thing coming from this hellhole is whispers. Whispers of escape. Surely they can't be true, there hasn't been a break out in twenty years, and now, there isn't anything for them to leave for. No sheltered nephew, no returning Dark Lord. Aside from the horrific gaurds, there is nothing for them to rally against. No need to worry though, they couldn't possibley get out, could they?
Hogwarts is completely unphased by this outwordly troubles, they have their own chaos to deal with. It was almost as if the kids, with nothing to live or die for, no great war of their generation, turned in on themselves. It's student against student here, and the teachers are helpless to stop any of it. Gangs have been formed, gangs who work undercover leaving no evidence. In response to the outbreak of petty crime, the head master created an Inquisition Squad, not unlike that during the reigh of Dolores Umbridge. Integrated with the rest of the student body, they sneak about, getting what they want by stealth. Between these clashing forces are the neutrals. They cling together, that way they're less likely to be interrogated or picked on, or that's what they think.
Don't think these ruthless packs of students are running willy-nilly. They're headed by students who could have been raised by wolves and badgers for they way they rule.
