Hello and welcome to Sunny Island! We're a little island in the middle of nowhere, but for that we have a fairly large and diverse population. They say that the island was abandoned long ago, but no one quite understands why--it is full of natural resources. The initial settlers turned the deserted place into a number one tourist attraction! But, um, we don't quite have that distinction anymore... why don't you join us in helping to put this island back on its feet again?
It's currently Year Two of Spring.
It's a little bit cold for the season; a few particularly obstinate piles of snow and slush are left on the ground, even; but that hasn't stopped life from returning to the island. Flowers push their way through the ground, birds sing boisterously, and farmers once again set to the task of growing crops. There is no snow expected for the season, but there will be a lot of rain, so take care and keep dry!

Name: Vera Coryn Pyre (VEER-a Corr-INN PY-urr)
Birthday: Spring 15th
Hometown: a small suburban area
Residence: Sunny Island
Occupation: none, yet
- Summer (warm weather, cicadas, fireflies, crickets, etc)
- Astronomy and psychology
- The moon
Personality: Vera is a very sweet and sociable girl. Although generally loving and compassionate, She tends to be a tad judgmental. First impressions are hard to make with her, but second chances are always handed out. She is usually quite bold, but becomes withdrawn when in a situation that discomforts her (like being around a crush!). Ironically, she tends to be drawn towards people who dislike her. It's all a part of her "life is a game" mentality. She is extremely jejune and childish, and could probably use some major growing-up. Though, this gives her a tender, dedicated, and indisputable ability to love with all of her heart. Alas, she had a huge lack of common sense.
- Large parties
Appearance: Vera is a very small young woman, barely reaching 5'1". She is very thin, and reasonably fragile-looking. Her hips and legs are a tad more defined than the rest of her petite body structure. Her hands are very small, which makes baking and such a tad difficult.
She is generally quite youthful, having porcelain skin and a hair color that is a combination of a brown and blonde shade. It naturally falls in subtle spirals down her chest. She wears a small white ribbon in her hair, often on the right side or tied up in a ponytail.
Vera has high-cheek bones and a distinct jaw-line, accentuating her lips that she often puts pale-pink lipstick on. Her eyes are probably her most interesting feature; they're a striking iridescent hazel color, with bits of gold, green and light brown all mixed in. Overall, her young looks are balanced by good posture and a notable smile.
(I made her hair too short here...)
Family: Mary (mother), John (father), Jeremy (younger brother), and Esther (younger sister).
Background: Vera was a straight-A student back in her home-town. She lived a happy life with her family, with whom she shared a very close bond. She studied hard all of her life, and it paid off very well. She was quiet in school, but graduated as the valedictorian of her class, receiving a scholarship to a college in the city. She hadn't even completed her first year, when she suddenly decided to drop out.
Vera's father pressured her very hard for her grades, and on some occasions, he would even smack her if she slacked off. She was taking a tedious course in psychology, wishing to major and go for a PhD. The stress took a huge toll on her, causing borderline depression. Finally, she became fed up and left the college. She then moved to Sunny Island in attempts for a simpler, more relaxed life.
You'd never guess that she was ever smart!
Magic History: none
Personal: a small velvet diary
Extra: several academic awards that she keeps hidden in storage
Marital Status: single
Turn-Ons: Chivalry, kindness, challenging, loyalty, sensitivity, musicians
