Seeing that we've had no action regarding psyhical investigation of late, the next best thing is watching television on the subject instead. And on this, we have got a few things that may be of interest coming up.
BBC 4 next week, Tuesday 27th 21:00 to 22:00
Ghosts in the Machine
A celebration of television's best supernatural shockers - from Michael Hordern being haunted by a bedsheet in Whistle and I'll Come to You to the demonic possession of Michael Parkinson on Ghostwatch, by way of Jane Asher getting freaked out by some walls in The Stone Tape.
Away from fictional scares, we're also promised Derren Brown recalling the controversy caused by his 2004 Seance, and a look at how TV has thanks to the popularity of Derek Acorah's otherwordly growlings on Most Haunted.
Two future programmes listed in the Radio Times:
I KNEW HE'D DO THAT...
Derren Brown's illusions often mimic the results achieved by "psyhics"- now he's to tackle them head on. In a three-part Channel 4 documentary series, he'll live for five days with people who claim to have psyhic powers.
In other paranormal news, Derek Acorah is to hold a live seance on Sky 1 next month, during which he'll chat to Michael Jackson.
Ohhh, please let him get possessed. It would make the show if the Scouse psyhic is spookily compelled to moonwalk....!
