Heard the version of Bonny on Arnie's show - rather good, I thought.
Yours faithfully

Good stuff James. I'm a home recorder as well ( Yamaha AW16G ), and I like the sound quality of your stuff, which deserves praise....whether people like the tunes or not. Home recording has come a long way, but creating good sounding home recordings still takes a lot of skill.

I happen to like your tunes quite a bit, and your views on LCTWWM doesn't influence my opinion about your music, one way or the other.

Yes, I suppose...,

LCTWWM was home recorded, but professionally remastered. It does sound very good, given the gear it was recorded on. But the remastering, is a huge part of the excellent sound you're hearing, when you listen to the CD.

Few 'home recorders' send their raw tracks off to professionals, to have them polished up in pro-tools and remastered. As well, few 'home recorders' have logged many hours in the studio with the likes of Thomas Dolby, to learn the ropes of recording and sequencing.

Most of us who home record our tunes, buy stand-alone Digital Audio Workstations or various computer recording interfaces/software programs, and bang away at the process....learning as we go. I've been at it for years, and good sounding results still mostly elude me.

James's music is very professional sounding. As someone who also home records, I admire his results ( performances, sound quality and songwriting ).

thank you.
my opinion is just my opinion. thank you for understanding that.
i'd love to hear some of your music as well.
you're right about home recording too. it has come a long way but i still find it a challenge to get good sound quality.
it's fun for sure.
