I haven't read the original Norwegian version, but the Swedish version used Billy Joel as reference. I merely exchanged him to Paddy. The joke can be read either way: the wife is ignorant cause she doesn't get the collector's thing, or the man is silly for being a nerd. Either way it's lovely, I think.

Nice, but I think it would take the strip to another level if the guy said "I almost put 'Blue Unicorn' before 'Zero Attention Span'".
(I.e., his wife would complain about the chronological order - but would not have any problems with the fact that the guy has a shelf full of self designed cd cases for Prefab Sprout albums he's only read about.)
