It certainly isn't Wendy, however I will be voting for this thread in the 'scraping of the barrel' category in the Sproutnet Xmas awards 2011.It doesn't even have any context..

Context is in the twitter stuff rock, it's some kind of t shirt day at 6 music.

Martin sporting one from the 1991 Ricard Festival in Paris by the looks of things.

Just trying to raise a titter over twitter, no offence Tim ;)

Yep, sponsored also by M6, a French TV channel so there might be a pro shot pro recorded Jordan era concert out there somewhere, you never know.

Been a very different year this to last year. Last year things were opening out, material was coming to light regularly, and everything seemed to point upwards. This year's been a depressing grind for not much return. A few good things I guess, nice that the Hacienda material turned up (ta Rock), but on the whole I'm doubtful I'll be able to maintain interest much longer myself.

Roy McCalvey says (not for the last time, either):

I played bass in AVALON and have absolutely nothing to add to this particular stream. ARE NICE GENERATOR A BAND? A CONDITION? We were Tony Coyle (vox - rhythm, lead guitar), Leo McCabe (bass and rhythm guitar), John Darmody (Johnny Darmo)(drums) and Paddy McAloon (lead guitar and vox). Both I and Tony Coyle wrote and had some of our songs in the set. We also did standards like Brown Sugar and Alright Now. Bisonrav has a set list. Here’s a link to my song about that time.

Warning! Serious Jagger Richard references in this song. P.S. Are they in Nice Generator?

'AVALON (OUR SONG)'.
