Interesting article in the UK Guardian, though lots of inaccuracies (eg, acid house origins). Notes the coining of 'easy listening' - of interest to a number of Sproutnuts during the debate a while back - coined, apparently by Billboard. Billboard also ran a chart for 'race records', which I knew about, but didn't know it was replaced by RnB.
