Mause poked her head between the palm fronds surrounding the shallowest portion of the pool, searching for a companion in swimming. Seeing none, her face falling, she stepped forward into the reasonably small space, which only seemed small due to invasive, shading plant growth. She had slipped away between classes, because the first class ended at 11AM and the second began at 3PM. There was really nothing better to do in the spare time, because the teachers at Meiun did not often assign homework, due to two-hour class period.
She had returned to her dormitory to change into suitable clothing, and had planned to soak there, but upon her return she found the dorm pool overrun by a visiting horde of junior students, and knew htat she could get nto rest there. Thus, she thought the Asterix Court the best place to go to find only the most mature people, becasue it was rather foreboding for young students to venture into the exclusive area by the upper classes. Assuming that few would be in attendance, of any at all, she slipped off her floaty bathrobe and loosed her messy ponytail, dipping a toe into the steaming water of the hot springs. It was unusually chilly out that January day, shortly after Christmas, so the toasty water was a warm welcome. Clad in nothing but her long hair, she slipped into the water up to her neck, resting her head against the rocky edge of the pool and closing her eyes. It would be nice for someone to talk to, but, my timing is sowonderful. Great. She sighed heavily. -------------------- |
