So simple and Clean [Sloan]

[Mizuki Oshiro]

Mizuki decided not to say anything else that might further his.. intentions - for a lack of a better word. Turning her head back to the DDR machine, she watched the two move their feet, jump and spin around. They were keeping good timing to the beat and made almost every step.

Licking her lips, she could feel herself feeling much better than she thought she would. Her energy level was higher than she thought she would obtain tonight. But she knew most of it was coming from Sloan... It wasn't a love aura, but it was some sort of aura coming from him. Something that Mizuki had obviously felt before. Closing her eyes tightly, she tried not to think of him right now. Shehad mourned him for about two years, and for the past week. She knew she had to move on eventually... But she was reluctant to. Always reluctant to get close to anyone. She would make friends with Sloan, but she wanted to keep him at a safe distance from her.

Quietly, she nodded to herself, opening her eyes to see that the two had stepped off the platform. They had failed in the middle of the song, but they were doing so well earlier!

[Sloan Ashewin]

Sloan fought back the urge to laugh at the pair that just came off the mats, they had been doing so well but it seemed that they had gotten cocky, missed some steps and then were unable to get back onto the beat thus continuing to miss more nad more steps. He knew that it should be a lesson learned not to get cocky even though he might be doing well.

"Seems like it's our turn"

Turn his eyes to look down at her he smiled playfully before using his arm around her waist to lead her towards the dance mats. Because Mizuki had aready put some coins into the machine it was set up and already to go for them, just waiting for them to pick a difficulty and a song in order to get started.

Without even thinking about it, Sloan picked beginner knowing it was probably better for him to start off on then any other level since he didn't play the game often and he wasn't familar with the songs. Waiting for Mizuki to do the same he also let her pick the song they would dance to.

[Mizuki Oshiro]

Mizuki let him guide her over to the machines, getting up on the other DDR machine. She, too, selected the Beginner level because it had been awhile for her. Seeing as he wasn't making a move to select a song, she pressed some buttons, looking through some lists. None of them looked familiar to her at all. Slightly frowning, she just chose a random song, hoping that it would be an easy one for someone who hadn't been on one of these machines in two years.

When the music played and the arrows began appearing on the screen, Mizuki let her feet guide her to the assigned arrows, smoothly and gracefully getting a higher score with each passing beat. For someone who hadn't played in a long time, she was pretty good at it, or maybe it was just beginner's luck.

Watching her roll through the songs, Sloan got the idea that maybe she wasn't overly familar with the songs listed either, then again he didn't find that overly surprised. He just couldn't see her as someone who worried about what was popular and trendy at the time, more interested in keeping tradition and practicing a more traditional lifestyle.

As the song started up, Sloan was glad they were given a few beats before they had to jump into the song. It was upbeat and definitly faster then he had expected, but as the dance steps came on the screen he found he wasn't having as much problem following them as he first thought he would.

Thanks to his training as a Senshi which helped him learn complete control over his tall body, he was still able to move fluidly over the mat, taking the steps one at a time and not getting ahead or behind the beat except for the missed step here or there, but they were rare but he didn't even seem to notice as he just had a good time playing next to her.

Her legs and reactions were quick due to her being a senshi. It just came naturally to her and this was the kind of game she liked. It was much better than the racing game they had played, and she didn't run over any cats in this one either. The song was upbeat and easy to her. Something about it was vaguely familiar - Maybe this was one of the old songs that was always popular.

She didn't know it, but there was a small smile spreading on her lips as she went through the song with Sloan. She was enjoying her time spent with him. Maybe a lot more this time because neither of them were talking about their senshi duties or anything like that. When the song finished, Mizuki clasped her hands together, anticipating her score as letters spun on the screen before landing on an A.

Mizuki could've shouted 'Yay!' right there on the spot, but she looked over at Sloan instead and smiled at him. "That was fun!"

Glancing over at her as they continued to dance, Sloan was happy to see the smile that had made itself at home on Mizuki's lips. He was sure that it was the first true smile that he had seen from her and knowing that he was there to see it made him feel almost a little proud. Yet he knew better then to take any credit for it, she had been enjoying herself on the game and was very good that was probably the true source of her smile.

As the song finally came to a end, Sloan kept his eyes on the screen and chuckled when he saw that he had gotten a B. At least he hadn't lost horribly, but dancing obviously wasn't his thing, even though he was trained as a senshi it was hard to move around his tall body as easily as she had been moving next to him.

Turning he caught her score on the screen in front of her and smiled as he moved his eyes to look at her instead of the screen. She had definitly done alot better then him, and alot better for making it sound like she had no experience at the game before.

"Well I think I've been beaten and beaten good"

Mizuki let out a sigh of relief now that the game was over. She had beaten Sloan and a small grin passed her lips.

"I could do much worse." She said winking at him and then jumping off the mat for the next couple to play. She wsa feeling much better now - almost like herself again. She couldn't help but glance over at Sloan one lsat time as he got off of the machine as well. "I am Sailor Venus," She said to him once he got close enough so that only he could hear that part. With that she punched him playfully in the middle of his chest.

She was definitly starting to loosen up around him more, her open and more playful attitude spoke in volumes to that fact and because of that Sloan was able to feel more comfortable with his approaches and questions even though he knew there was still territory he would have to tread carefully on.

"Ah Sailor Venus thats correct"

Smirking he lifted his hand towards the Sailor Venus game that she had been trying to ignore earlier, now he couldn't help but point it out to her. Moving his arm around her waist again and pulling her closer he began to move her in the direction of the game.

Mizuki kept herself from punching him in the chest again. Out of all the games, he wanted to play the Sailor Venus game. The one that the original Sailor Venus had influenced.

"You want to play that?" She asked, feeling his arm around her waist again. This time, she was pulled closer to him. She didn't really mind, but if his hand slipped any lower, she'd have to say something. He smelled really nice anyways, and she found that she didn't mind the feel of his body next to her arm.

"Indeed I do"

Sloan couldn't help but snicker softly, she had really brought it on herself by reminding him that she was Sailor Venus. Moving them both towards the game that seemed to call out to them. Keeping his arm around her waist until they stopped in front of it, he let her go to move towards the machine and enter some coins into the slot.

"Show me what your made of Sailor Venus"

Biting her lower lip, she took hold of the plastic gun attached the the machine with both hands. She wasn't sure how to play the game, but she was pretty sure you just had to avoid getting hit and kill the approaching monsters.

Aiming the gun at the screen, she began to shoot as soon as a Monster popped up on the screen. More monsters began appearing in front of her and a fierce look came over her eyes as she scrunched her brows together, shooting down the monsters one by one. Her hands clasped the gun even tighter as she tool aim and shot the monsters right between the eyes. Some of the monsters were even monsters she had defeated before and that only brought back the memories of the fight. Of course, these fights were when she first became Sailor Venus and she had struggled a lot more in battle than she was now.

Leaning against the machine, Sloan watched with amusement as Mizuki proceeded to take down all the monsters that showed up on the screen with a strange intensity. No doubt there were some creatures on the screen that resembled monsters that she had fought previously as the real Sailor Venus and help her get into the game.

Even while using a gun, her attacks seemed to be down pat and almost flawless and no doubt if using her own senshi powers she was well trained as well. Sloan only hoped that the rest of the planetary senshi were this well trained, then his job would be so easy.

Mizuki had nearly completed the game her character seemed to have run out of energy. She was in the middle of a fight with a big scaley monster when her energy bar faded and the screen went black with a big red and disgraceful 'GAME OVER' plastered onto the screen.

"I lost..." She pouted. Maybe she was well trained, but she stil probably didn't exactly know how to reserve her energy when in battle. Most of the time she just experimented with the amount of energy used in an attack, but lately, the youma seemed to be growing stronger and needed more powerful attacks to blast them away. that, alone, took up a lot of energy.

Her eyes remained on the screen as her score was entered into the top 10 ranking of the highest score in the Sailor Venus game. At least she had made it that far.
