So simple and Clean [Sloan]

Weak. She hated feeling weak, and the feeling had been overwhelming her lately. The battles she had been in hadn't helped either, and that dream of being in battle and meetin Sailor Mars, Sailor Moon, and Aluminum Siren oddly took a lot of energy from her too. It was time that she surround herself in the energy she needed or she might pass out in the middle of a battle. Passing out was not acceptable. At. All.

Instead of dressing in her usual manner, she threw on a pair of tight fitting jeans, a long sleeved shirt, black boots, and a light jacket. Just in case it got cold later on.

Mizuki wasn't sure why she found herself in the arcade... A strange place to try and surround herself in the aura of love, but maybe if she was lucky, she'd find a few couples on dates around here. People still went to arcades on dates, right? She wasn't sure. She didn't really follow the dating etiquette anymore.

Standing by the entrance of the arcade, she leaned against a cold wall, arm pressed against it while her head leaned against the wall, eyes moving to check out any couples around inside. Just one couple was, maybe, all she needed right now. Enough to gie her the energy to actually feel happy.

He needed to clear his head, he could feel thoughts sneaking into it that he didn't want to think of at the moment. Sloan could feel the hunger and longing for his home planet coming to the forefront of his mind and when that happened the personality that belonged soley to Star Fighter began to take over as well.

Growling to himself he headed towards the arcade hoping that the mind numbing games would help him get his thoughts headed in a different and safer direction then where they were currently aimed. That last thing he wanted was to transform into Star Fighter against his own will just because he couldn't control his thoughts.

Thats when he saw the one thing that would be able to brighten his day, lifting a eyebrow in question the tall man stopped right behind Mizuki thinking that luck was suddenly going his way. Her presence alone seemed to make all of his previous thoughts disappear.

"Well hello there"

Mizuki, having low energy, couldn't even sense that the Star Fighter was approaching her. The only thing that made her aware of him was when he came up behind her and greeted her. That earned a startled jump out of her as she turned around to see who that familiar voice was coming from.

"Oh, hi." She said, clutching her folded up jacket, that was laying across her arms, to her chest. Her heart was pounding not because of him, but because she had been startled. Chocolate brown eyes glanced at him before glancing left and right, as if she were crossing a street. Why did he have to be here while she probably looked like shit?

Easily the playful smirk danced over Sloan's lips as he looked down at the woman in front of him, she was dressed in completely different clothes then the last time he had seen her but he liked her like this as well. It was as though she could make anything she choose to wear look good.

"Were you going inside?"

He gestured towards the arcade she had yet to fully enter, it was almost as though she was just peeking inside instead of going in and he couldn't figure out why she would be doing that instead of going in. Lifting a eyebrow in question he shook his head slightly before chuckling.

"You'll have more fun playing the games inside then standing out here"

"What?" She blinked looking at him. How could he turn her into a complete blank idiot whenever he came around? Looking behind her, she remembered her reason for going to the arcade. "Oh. Yeah. I was... Thinking about it." She said quietly, as she looked back at him.

Shifting her weight so that she was no longer leaning against the wall, she stood up straight. He was still much taller than her, since she was only 5"5'. "I haven't been in an arcade in a long time though..." Which was true, because games never really interested her much. She preferred quieter things... But that didn't mean she was unwilling to try new things.

"Well then why don't you come in with me"

With that Sloan quickly took a hold of her hand without any warning what so ever, and proceeded to lead her into the arcade behind him. If she wanted to be in there, then thats where she should be and he wouldn't let her hang around outside the door feeling as though she didn't belong or too shy to go in or whatever her reason for staying outside had been.

"Lets play some games together, I hate playing video games alone anyway"

Before Mizuki could even say anything in protest, he had grabbed ahold of her hand and tugged her inside with him. It had definitely been a long time since she had been in here. The last time she was in here, actually to play games, was her senior year of high school. She often came with her friends to watch all the cool guy play games like DDR and the like. But now, it looked as though everything in the arcade had been upgraded. Everything was a lot more flashy and Mizuki wasn't sure if she liked it or not, but she made no protest of it.


"Lets play some games together, I hate playing video games alone anyway"

"Ah, okay..." Her eyes glanced at the floor, briefly, as she walked. His hand felt so warm, strong, and smooth. It had been a long time since someone had held her hand. Everyone else just seemed to be so intimidated, by her, to even approach her. As they moved furhter into the arcade, Mizuki searched as their feet kept moving, keeping a careful eye for any couples.

Sloan continued to lead the woman through the large arcade, moving past all the games that were based on single player style and towards the games that they could play together. Games such as DDR, racing games and hand to hand combat style games with side by side playing.

"Well M'Lady, take your pick what shall we play?"

He glanced around the arcade before his intense chocolate brown orbs landed upon the woman beside him, her smaller hand still clasped within his own. Sloan didn't even seem to notice the connection that remained between the two of them, almost as though he had forgotten that his fingers had almost intertwined with hers.

Sloan may have forgotten that their hands were still clasped together, but Mizuki didn't. Once they stopped, she let go of her grasp around his, letting her hand fal back to her side.

"Uhm... I'm not sure." She answered meekly. She turned her head, her bangs falling into her eyes, as she looked around the arcade. Maybe she was looking for a game to play, but she was really looking for a couple playing a game together. Maybe there would be a game next to them that the two of them could play.

Of course, Mizuki wasn't even realizing that she was feeling better when Sloan had appeared though.

Speaking of Sloan... Since he was a lot taller than her, maybe he could have better luck than she was having. Turning back to him, her bangs still in her eyes, she looked up at him. "Do you think you can help me with finding a couple?" A strange question, but maybe he wouldn't ask her why. She didn't feel like explaining to someone that she needed to be surrounded by the aura of love to reboost her energy. She'd expect a reaction something along the lines of, "You're crazy!" But then again, Sloan wasn't from this planet either.

Lifting a eyebrow in question, Sloan looked down at Mizuki unable to wonder why she was asking him that question. It was at that point he realized how much taller then her he was and obviously he had a great height advantage meaning he could see more of the arcade then she could.

"Looking for anyone in particular?"

Letting his melted chocolate orbs move from her, he began to scan the arcade, easily seeing over top most of the games that took up the large room and taking in all of the people that he could see waiting for her to tell him just which couple it was she was looking for in particular.

Mizuki watched him for awhile as he scanned the place for her. Well, it seemed he was a pretty nice guy. Quietly, she turned her attention to the room now, a flashing game that looked like it could cause a seizure caught her attention. A Sailor Venus Game?! Oi, it couldn't be a game inspired by her, could it? That was so embarrassing. Especially since Sloan knew she was Sailor Venus. She turned her attention away from it, hoping he wouldn't notice the game.

"Just... Any couple will do." She answered, "Preferably one with a free game next to them..." She hoped she wasn't sounding like some sort of weirdo. Who, in the right state of mind, would be looking for just any couple with a free game next to them? Maybe someone evil who was looking to do evil things with them, but Mizuki was one of the good guys just looking for a place to recharge.

Blinking when she said just any couple would do, he had to wonder exactly what she wanted with any couple, but he didn't voice his questions. Most likely she had her own reasons and he wasn't about to question them, at least not at that moment, the look on her face seemed to tell him not to.

"Okay there is one over there then"

Gesturing towards a free racing game next to a couple who were playing the same game, Sloan headed in that direction, already assuming that she would follow since that was where she had wanted to be.

Mizuki nodded, "Okay then." She followed him to the game. She wasn't very good at driving and still hadn't gone to get her license yet. She didn't even have her permit! Sad, but true. She didn't really need to drive to get anywhere. Everything she needed was in walking distance.

Reaching the couple, Mizuki could finally feel her mood getting better. She stood a good and respectful distance away from them, just watching them at first. Turning her head to Sloan, she smiled at him; a thank you for going through the trouble of looking for a couple for her.

Silently Sloan stood beside her as he watched her watching the couple as they played the racing game beside them, their attentions to each other affectionate and loving, something that was almost corney and cheesy but seemed to be lifting Mizuki's mood and that alone lifted his own.

"Come on girl, we're here to play too"

Smirking at her he gestured towards the racing game that required them to sit in the side by side booths. Easily he slid into one and slid some coins into both of the slots, waiting for her to join him before he started up the game.

Play? Well Mizuki didn't really expect herself to play anything when she first came in, but the couple noticed her standing there and watching them after the first round. Uhh... She smiled at them, as best as she could without being awkward as she slid into the booth beside Sloan.

Throwing her jacket behind her in the seat, she gripped the wheel in front of her that was supposed to create a psuedo driving experience. "Oi..." She said quietly as she watched the screen in front of her start moving. She didn't really have any idea what to do. Well, she did - the general thing was to keep with the road, but this was a racing game and she would definitely be teh sux0rs.
