Welcome to Shards of Kombat!! This is an alternate Mortal Kombat RP. Make sure you register with the name of the character you wish to RP here as. So if you were Sonya Blade [who�s taken by the way], you�d sign up as Sonya Blade. Nothing more, nothing less. Make sure you read the rules, plots and other important threads before registering. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the admin or ask one of the members.

In the beginning those of the Earthrealm believed the Mortal Kombat to be a single human concept. This idea was further void during the time that other realms were introduced. No longer was being human good enough, in an effort to protect their realm from total chaos and annihilation, Earthrealm sent forth their prized combatants, those capable of defending the title in hopes to establish fair ground for those participating. Liu Kang became Earthrelam�s champion. Defeating the true meaning behind the takeover. For ever succession in Mortal Kombat a realm receives a tournament victory, when ten victories are placed against the same realm, the portals open creating a means for take over. Invading the realm soon after is not only welcomed but expected as ensured by the Elder Gods who created these vast worlds. The legend has held firm to the truth that the reigning champion will not age until they are challenged to Mortal Kombat again, if they do not succeed, this privilege is removed. Though it would be a pretty fruitless warrant to remain when there�s no body left to return to�
