Nashville, TN---The 145 Music Group has signed family group The Revelators, to an exclusive recording agreement on the Revival Wind label.
The Revelators are a Southern Gospel family trio from the Ozark Mountains of Southwest Missouri. John and Wilma Hile founded their ministry in 1986. In 2000 the Hile’s oldest daughter, Tiffany, began singing with the group, eventually becoming a very strong part of the ministry. Their youngest daughter, Brittney is also starting to get involved.
145 Music Group A&R Director Paul Martin made the following statement concerning the signing of The Revelators; “When I heard the Revelators for the first time, I tried to fit them into some “style” mold. The more I listened the more I decided, this wonderful family group, just doesn’t fit into the traditional molds we have. Their style could be best described as a “revival style” of singing. If I had to compare them to another group, the first one that comes to mind would be the Singing Cookes. If you like good ole camp meeting, revival style singing, you are going to fall in love with the Revelators.” Martin continued, “Being able to sign the Revelators feels like finding a hidden treasure. We are looking forward to introducing them to the rest of the country.”
Concerning the signing with the 145 Group, John Hile had this to say: “We are very blessed to have the opportunity to sign with 145 music group. We’re proud to be on the Revival Wind label and we’re looking forward to a long, wonderful relationship with them.”
Currently the group and the label are selecting songs for their first Revival Wind release. A late spring release is expected.
