Hi Folks,
Just asking for your prayers as I go in for a tonsillectomy/sinus surgery on Thursday. If everything goes well, I should be able to go home at night...so pray that happens! Adult tonsillectomies can be pretty intense I guess.

I'll be praying for you! I had my tonsils out when I was 23 over Christmas Holidays! (I was a first year elementary school teacher.) They also went in and "cleaned out" my sinuses at the same time. You will not hear horror stories from me. However, be prepared for the third day when the scabs come off...it is quite painful. They made me stay in the hospital overnight because they say adults sometimes have bleeding problems with this sugery. I did not have any of that. Let us know how you do!

I'm praying for you too, Lorraine. My sis had her tonsils out a few years ago (in her 40's) and she did just fine. I pray that all goes well...... I pray that God will guide the hands of the doctors and everyone involved in your surgery. Enjoy the popsicles, ice cream and pudding. :hug:

Thanks for your prayers! I did have a cute Anesthesiologist and male nurse...so thankds for that Kattie, lol!!!!
Little rough going in recovery but I got home on Thursday night and I'm hoping that things are on the mend.
I sound like Darth Vader tho...
