I am free most evenings but Saturdays and Sundays during the day I am busy with the biggest bocking club in the United Kingdom and therefore unavailable.

Preferred Football Position: CM, CAM, CDM. However I have played CB and RB for various clubs.

Personal Rating (1-10):8 - I say this as my WEI is 7.9 and AVR is 8.8 in midfield.

Will you be frequently active on the forum? Forum activity means a better chance of getting selected to play: I frequent a lot of forums so adding one more should not be any problem

What attracts you to our club? I think the main attraction to your club is the manner in which it is conducted. I like the idea of playing with mature players and a structured approach to team play

Additional Comments: First off I would like to say I am applying for CDM, CM or CAM however I would be willing to give a defensive position a shot if it was offered. I much prefer midfield to defensive and would like to make that clear should I be given a chance to play for the club

I have played CB and RB with plenty of compliments on my ability to defend. My biggest strength in defensive play often goes unnoticed which is to get between the ball carrier and a potential threatening player making a run. While this doesn't sound important it does give the ball carrier less passing options quite often resulting in them holding the ball too long and losing possession.

I prefer to play a central role as I like to be in a position to both make space for passing options and to get involved in preventing passes and getting possession back. I do not ball chase but prefer to hold a strong team position as this cuts off any attacking options of the opposition.

My main strength is my consistency within a position. I do not come out of position and go on wild runs.

I'm also a "meat and veg" type of player meaning I prefer a passing game to taking players on with fancy tricks, I prefer a slow build up game with moving the ball around to a direct game where every pass is forward.

Nice to see you apply.. Unfortunatly we have all our positions filled bar fullback.. We understand that you dont nesecerally like playing there, but as options goes we have none. All our other players are a class above the rest. All i can say is that should we be short of a midfield role we can put you there, but your main position will be fullback.

Also i have to say that you have a very well written application. We have 3 main staff here who say gets into the club, we operate an xfactor style process, and all i can say is you have a yes from me.

The other 2 managers wil be around shortly, more than likley after the champions league, but i dont think you should have a problem if the factors i laid out for you above are agreeable.

Well I have no problems starting off as a full back so long as should a midfield position open up I was given a chance there and an opportunity to make it my main position.

At a previous club I started as a full back, then moved to Center Back but was then never given a chance to play in midfield.

I'd be fine giving full back a go and seeing how it went and how I got on within the club so long as I was not written in stone as a defender as I prefer the midfield role and ultimately that is where I'd like to aim for.

Very well written application. I know both your "ex-teams" (we've played MyM 10 days ago) and I know and recognise you from the EA Forum.
As Beer Huntor said, we are currently looking for a full back and you'll have to be very sure that you are truely willing to play there every time.

If a CDM position opens up cause we have room for the night or simply cause someone leaves you'll have first choice I must be honest though. We only play with 4 midfielders (2 wingers and 2 CDM) and the competition is very big. We always plays with our strongest formation, so you'll only might get a chance if the position is open for the night.

So I say yes, but only if you are honest to yourself and are sure that you can motivate yourself to become the best full back we have ever seen. I can't guarantee that a midfield position will open up on a short notice.

Well CDM is where I played when I played for Monkeys XI and we were ranked 33rd and is probably my strongest position so I'd be willing to fight for that position should it arise.

I'd be fine playing full back and seeing how it goes and if worse comes to worse and I can't get along there then I'm sure you would be able to find a suitable replacement As my good ol mam says "can't hurt to try new things".

Hey guys, just finished watching the first half of the Liverpool match and I was wondering how will I know if I'm accepted to play in the full back position? As in, who has to give me the thumbs up or thumbs down?

As far as i know you have 2 yes's from me and cas... we only need to wait for british fiasco (club gaffer) to accept or deny your application as he has final say..

First off, welcome to RockSteady FC the home of the mature and friendly.

In regards to your position, obviously I wouldn't allow you to walk straight into the squad and into another players position. You will start as a full back, I am certain you'll get a chance at one of our defensive midfield positions and it is from there that you will have to earn the right to play there. Meaning lots of hard graft during games when you get the playing time in your favoured position.

I don't have favourites at this club, meaning. I will select players based on ability (vocally/technically) only, not via friendship links with players as I've seen some managers do in the past at other clubs in my career. Basically, if your the best. Sky's the limit.

I too have a capture hard, however it is not HD and my editing skills are somewhat average at best. It would be an absolutely fantastic asset for the club if you were involved with producing such a service for us. I'm aware of how much of a hassle it is, capturing etc due to personal experience and thus you won't be pressured into doing so (on your own accord).

We could also really make good use of your design ability also, again at your own discretion.

I felt exactly the same as you mate, up until i started playing with these guys on Fifa 10 i was solely a DM, on 09 i spent the majority of my time in DM, spreading the ball about and helping the defense.

Now, with the abundance of class CDM's on the club, i decided it would be better for me to drop back in to a full back role to get some playing time. After a couple of days of full back, i began to love it, and now can't really see myself playing anywhere else.

Seriously, give it a couple of days with these guys, and you'll see that you are helping out just as much (if not more) at full back, and that u are involved no less than you would be in DM, since u get to venture forward when u have an opportunity.

Think it may take me a few games to get used to playing wide and in defence again but hopefully it won't take too long.

Great to have you aboard, you could be that bit of class we have been looking for. We are in real need of class at the back, and there is often times when we will need another CB and CDM due to unavailabilty, and at the moment we are in desperate need of a class full back as Craigieboy is only usually available at certain times of the day.

Hi there i play for mym allstars that you have played (i scored against u) At the moment the allstars organisation is poor and we dont get to play alot of games or at a good level, the players they have brought in are not as good as once thought, but the main reason im leavin is the fun of clubs has left me playing for them. What im trying to say is im very intrested in your club because you look like a very organised club and look like you are goin places, i know you mite not have many places left but would like the chance to play for you team if possible, im mainly a central midfielder but dont mind playing any were as long as im playing with a team that is fun and knows how to play football the beautiful way it shud be played. At the moment we are quite full up when it comes to players, luckily for you however we are currently cutting dead weight from our squad so a position may open up.

I know Ryan (sweaty), met him at the emirates and played with him for a good amount of time.

I remember vanbasten10 from our game against mym. A long striker and quite dangerous. He scored a header from a corner against us.
