First TOTP studio appearance : "What Have They Done To My Song Ma?", 30/7/70

Number of studio appearances : 24

UK/Australian group formed by Keith Potger following the demise of the Seekers. The line-up was: Lyn Paul, Eve Graham, Peter Doyle, Marty Kristian and Paul Layton. Doyle left in 1974, replaced by Peter Oliver. They split in 1975, though reformed the following year minus Lyn.

Peter Doyle died from cancer on 22/10/01.

Another great singles band, often overlooked and (wrongly! :angry: ) derided. There version of Pinball Wizard/See Me, Feel Me is a cracker!

Sorry to pick here, but Doyle left in '73 after his affair with Lyn Paul became big tabloid news and the band officially split in May '74. As of the band, not much of interest to me other than "Circles" & "You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me". The rest of their stuff was rather on the twee side!

Kathy Ann Rae, who was the blonde that replaced Lyn Paul and featured in this week's 1977 TOTP repeat, died a year ago from cancer. :(

R.I.P. Kathy, and Peter Doyle. I hope the surviving members can settle their differences and become friends again.
