Admin V Group: Admin Posts: 99 Member No.: 1 Joined: 7-February 07	Please thoroughly read through these set of regulations to ensure that there will be not later quarrels or confrontations on [PT]. The rules are here simply to help the site run smoothly and so answer a few questions that possible applicants might have concerning the site and its system. .general >> Curtsy. Please avoid having arguments or debates on the forums. If you would like to have that, we would rather the confrontations be held on your own form of messaging. We do not tolerate harassment on the site, and if another member has told us that they are being hassled, then we will look into the matter immediately. If you have been warned twice by an admin or a moderator that your behavior is unacceptable, then you will be banned from the site – simple as that. >> Literacy is a must on this site. We expect a high level of literacy from our role players, so one liner and short paragraphs are not what we are aiming for. Of course writer’s block is an exception to this rule, though after twelve posts of nothing but short, grammatically incorrect sentences, it is safe to assume that your standard of literacy may not meet the requirements of Play Tragic. >> When making a biography for your character, we suggest that you save it somewhere on your computer. If the forum happens to be deleted due to inactivity – which you can prevent by telling us whether you will be away for long period of time – it will be easier for you to just repost your bio so that you can continue role playing with not problems at all. >> Please do not ‘jump from mod to mod’. By that I mean, please no going to ask a mod for something, getting an answer that you don’t like, and asking another moderator or admin the same question. You get one answer only, unless told otherwise by the person you are asking. Oh, and I think that Gary Oldman is sex on legs. >> Absences can be a hassle. If you are going to be away, please post in the special forum on the ‘Generals Board’ that you will not be on the site for longer than five days. If that is the case, at lease we will know that you haven’t just abandoned the board, which leads me onto my next rule. >> Please tell us if you are thinking about leaving the forum, so we are able to delete your account. If you a canon and just abandon the site, it wouldn’t not be fair for another person who would like your particular position. Accounts will be deleted if they are not active for a month, with no indication that you will be able – aka, signing the absent box. >> Keep OCC chats to a minimum. Of course if you are saying that your reply will be a little late, that’s fine, but nothing that goes on for a page and a half, please. >> Spamming is a no, no – not in the cbox and not on the forums. Please do not bump your board unless you have redone something an admin or moderate has asked you to do, and you need to alert them in someway. >> Graphics are always a bit of a hassle – nothing too large please – nothing over 500 x 200. And absolutely no ‘doll’ images to represent your character. The signatures and avatars are used to represent your character, so please use a celebrity or model and not self-images or CGI characters. >> This board may contain scenes of violence, sexual implications and the like. When your role play is above PG-13 level, please mark it accordingly on the subtopic part of your topic’s name:: [V] – contains violence [S] – Sexual Content [L] – Language – heavy=L, little=l [A] – All of the above, plus other adult content – drugs, etc. >> Oh and no posting on any of the boards until you have been accepted. .characters When you are registering, please register using the following example as a template:: Tom Riddle --- not --- TOM RIDDLEXXX_ Keeps it neat and simple. >> Character perfection is always an issue. Beautiful characters are not hated as they do exist. I honestly don’t mind if your character looks like some sort of hot, blonde supermodel, but it is when the character has absolutely no flaws at all do I ever comment on your portrayal of your character. Perhaps she is stunning, but is shy and is unable to make good connections with guys? Heck, she could be [ugly], but damn intelligent and get laid on a daily basis? Make your characters unique! >> Please, please keep to the time period when role playing. Its the 1970s! Hippies, smoking and all that is fine, but I don't want to go onto a thread and see: Remus picked up his 120MG laptop and started playing Starwars – now if you said that he watched a Star Wars movie somewhere in London, then it would be a different story. >> You can have as many characters as you want – but there is a limit to how many originals and canons you can claim; two canons, two originals, two guys, two girls – get the connection. Even it out. Make sure that you have a balance. If you’ve already got two original ladies, then your next character should be a canon male. See the connection?
