The Plot
After the death of the daughter of the Triad warlord, Hirokazu Sato, the Sato family has been keeping a much sharper eye on their own. It seems unthinkable that such a thing could have been conceived right under their noses. However, a sharp eye alone can't stop true love.
Still mourning the death of her sister, Mayumi Sato took it upon herself to follow in her sister's path. It was wrong that you couldn't love someone outside your own culture, civilians were allowed to do it, why couldn't she? Apparently, she wasn't the only one feeling like this.
Vito Cipriani has been questioning where his loyalties lie for some time now, though he's mafia by blood, being one of Papa Graziano's nephews, he isn't at heart.
As fate would have it, the two meeting was inevitable. Immediately, Mayumi fell for the Cipriani charm, his smooth-talking ways were just so irresistable and he was so unlike any other man who'd ever courted her. The two began seeing each other in secret, hiding their nights together in cheap motels and slumming it where no one would recognize them.
Deceit can only go on for so long though, Zeshin Sato, Mayumi's brother, spotted her one night, slipping into a motel room with Vito close on her heels. He feels much differently about the ordeal than she does. If he goes to his father, there's no telling what may become of Mayumi, or Vito for that matter. Though the death of Vito would undoubtedly bring on a Mafia backlash, there's no telling what lengths Hirokazu will go to to protect his daughter.
