So after a week of air strikes, Israel is now pushing troops, along with tanks, into Gaza.
Israel is fine in the sense that they are defending themselves but to react with this much force is only going to make the situation worse. But it's to late to stop now. They either are going to go all out and try to wipe Hamas away or they fail horribly. They won't succeed in getting rid of Hamas entirely, they just end up splitting into cells and what not and just go guerrilla. This just reminds me of the whole Georgia and Russia fiasco. |

I think Israel has the right to do this, but I don't think this was the best idea. Hamas will only suceed in spreading their propoganda.
Should they ceasfire? yeah. Will they? Probably not. Israel is so deadset on taking out Hamas. |

getting rid of hamas is hardly possible..its like trying to win the war on terror...someone will always replace the something that you destroy..its an enevitable, unrelenting cycle!

yeah, it really is a sad state of affairs. Atleast right now Isreal is coming to the table with a possibility for a truce. Not like those last very long between those two but any truce is pretty much a good truce.

Well, it's seemed to hold pretty well so far.
