I'm typing up the docs for this time around, so I can make as many copies as I need. Need to read through them and make sure they make sense, etc. Adding a few exotic weapons as well, so stay tuned.

By the way, what did you guys think of the modular armor system? That is, the one that made chest protection, arm protection, head protection, and leg protection different parts?

Il have no say in it really this campaign, considering my class, but i liked how i could boost my armor from its original AC by adding things later on. I also like how with that system, we can more or less regulate the beginning AC for our members, making it more challenging, and therefor fun. Im all for the system you used last time

I got the idea for the "modular" armor system from the Arms and Equipment Guide, where they had an item called bastana, which is a pair of bracers worn with padded, leather, or the light maille armor. Since all the armor was similar to that in our last setting, I rolled with that and included leg protection as well.

The standard DnD armor is a hodge podge collection; even the "breast plate" armor comes with leg protection and a helmet by default (which would make it more than a breast plate now wouldn't it ^______________________^).

For example, a cote of maille includes a gambeson (padded armor in this context) and gauntlets. I'm sure you can all see what I'm talking about if you check the PHB.

What I am tempted to do is make maille the heaviest "set" of armor, and have the rest (greaves, bracer, gauntlets, helmets, breastplates) stack ontop of them. Being the earlyish iron age we're in, there are several options I can check out.
