I've been using the 64 bit version of Build 7000 and so far so good. No where near as annoying as Vista and it has a moderate amount of backwards compatibility for xp programs.

If I can find a legal way to get it free, I will.
Otherwise, my badass vista gaming rig will suffice quite nicely. |

I want to upgrade to 7, but I don't want to use the Beta. I want something that I won't have to reinstall in a few months.

Just finished Installing Windows 7 Professional. So far I am actually enjoying using it.. I'll post again in a few days when I have fully aclimated.

So, after a week of using 7, I still like it. It seems to be like Vista, without the crap.... I like it better than Vista or XP, and when the semester is over, I plan to install it on my laptop as well.
