Does anyone have any interest in this four movie retelling of the series? Yeah, the first three are basically telling the first 24 or so episodes again, but the fourth is a new ending.
I'm kind of interested, after seeing how the first movie ended. I just don't want another headache. |

ooooh more to mindtrip. Higurashi no naku koroni was the last mind trip-ish thing I watched, of course that was AFTER Evangelion, so I need something new.

I need to get the original series and watch them, but the movies are a good way to get new fans in on the series.

Just finished the first one "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone"
Dude.... That was fucking amazing. I was thinking that they might end up fucking it up in an effort to make money, but this... this was far better than I expected. I actually dropped my jaw.... Ramiel looked fucking amazing...... And as always, they even had Misato do the preview for the second movie. "Savisu savisu!!" Final Thought: EPIC!!! :cube: :pbjt: :cube: |

Thats no surprise coming from an eva fanatic but yes the animation was an improvement from the original, i just want them to get to the new stuff now.

Well, the second movie has aired in Japan, though only for private viewing in select theaters.
There are a few interesting points about this movie that deserve mention. This movie seems to be where this new story deviates from the original. The most notable change being a new Eva pilot, and I've heard rumors of 2 new Angels.. The new eva pilot is the change that seems to be the most interesting though. Her name is Makinami Mari. rather than try to describe her, I'll post a pic of her instead.. (Posted Image) |

I finally got around to watching 1.0 the other day, it was good.
