to Midnight Acres
Midnight Acres is a stable in northern Virginia, located in the foothills of the Shenandoahs west of Washington, D.C. It is owned and run by Jennifer Tyson, a former US Army First Lieutenant who is now working on a PhD in History.
With 700 acres of lands, the stable boasts numerous trails and an extremely nice facility.
Anyone is welcome to board at the stable or just stop by for a visit or a lesson. There are plenty of shows to go to in the area, and a nice town about a half hour drive from the stable itself. It is a very horsey area, and a great place for someone looking to settle down with other people that love horses.

Important Updates
10 August 2009 - Alright, guys, there have been some additions to the rules, and please remember that ONLY ADMINS can accept your applications! I'm glad this place is picking up members fast :] Any advertising would be greatly appreciated as well.

The Mall
There are tons of stores in the mall, from Pottery Barn to American Eagle to Best Buy to a movie theater to a huge tack shop that meets all of your horsey needs. A great place to get what you need or just hang out with some friends. Make sure you put in the topic where you are.

The Park
A beautiful, small park in the town that is a great place to relax, to hold summer concerts, or to go for a walk after a nice night out with a special someone.

Show Grounds
This is where all shows will be held. Keep your eyes open for them. The grounds include hunter, show jumping, dressage, normal, and warm up arenas. There is also a cross country course.

The Mansion
Sitting back away from the barn itself and hidden by trees is the Victorian Style mansion that the owners of the stable live in. It is gray brick complete with marble pilliars, and massive. If you need anything, feel free to come up to the house. There are even a couple of rooms available.

The Stable
Made up of grey stone and shaped in an "L" the stable can hold up to 30 horses, 15 per side. The center where it bends holds the viewing area for the arena, lounge, office, bathroom, and small kitchen on two floors. Each side has its own tack room, wash stall, and feed room. Sawdust is kept in a seperate building and the hay is in the loft upstairs. The barn is climate controlled in certain areas and everything is kept immaculately clean.

The Arenas
There is one large indoor arena just off of the stable, an outdoor arena the size of a medium sized dressage ring, and an outdoor arena with jumps.

The Trails
The trails in the 700 acres owned by the stable include fourwheeler trails, an extremely nice cross country course, and other horse trails that lead to some beautiful spots to just relax or even go for a swim.

The Grounds
The grounds include anywhere outside not mentioned elsewhere at the stables. This means the pastures for the horses, the outdoor wash areas, ect.
