jelena has softer features than most russians, but that by no means takes away from her beauty. her bust size is average along with her six foot seven height. her body is atheletic with a tendency towards the curvy side. her eyes are what she considers her best feature, a peircing grey-green gaze that immeadiately captures attention. her skin is clear and smooth as well as pale, though not overly so. while she is physically strong for most witches, her strength lies in her magic rather than her body.

her hair is dark brown, though it lightens a bit in the summer. generally worn past the middle of her back, though she sometimes has it cut up closer to shoulder-length. always straight or with a natural wave in it.

jelena has never worn anything other than designer clothing, having the funds to do such a thing. while clothing may not be an important aspect in her life, something she spends hours agonizing over, she does take a care to always look polished and sophisticated. in any case, she loathes closed teaching robes and isn't old enough to simply not care at all what she wears. thus she settled for the open teaching robes, wearing her own clothing beneath them. as for make-up, she wears very little. she has always taken care of her skin and has pride in how smooth and clear it is, so she has little need for make-up. she wears to accenuate, not to cover. keeping things natural has always been her preference.

jelena was a sweet child whom loved her family, but when they were taken from her by various means, she was left bitter and angry, even at such a young age. not even betrothed yet, she had been free to choose everything about her life. jelena remained what her father had wanted of her. cold, calculating, sadistic, and intellegent. not only was she arrogant, but she was extremely proud and confident. she has never been very close with anyone. her one determination in life was to free her father and join the dark Lord. she acomplished the later, but her father was thrown back into azkaban. this unleashed an unbelievable rage in her that smoulders just beneath her cool exterior. she adores the subject she is teaching, but hates having to teach it to incompetant children. her true desires msut be hidden so that she may infiltrate the school for her lord.

jelena dolohov was born to young, but happy parents. her father was already a powerful death eater when she was born, and she was brought up to follow in his footsteps. her mother, an avid supporter of the dark lord and a healer for his death eaters, was equally emphatic that their daughter grow up to be like atonin. jelena had a wonderful life for a pureblood in a death eater family. she learned to be arrogant and proud of her blood at a young age. she knew who she was going to follow and why before she was six. she was also found to be an extremely powerful witch and her parents began teaching her as soon as possible. it had crushed her heart when her mother and unborn brother had died so violently. aurors had stunnerd her multiple times and as she was pregnant and hit with so many, they had caused her to miscarriage and she died before help could arrive. she had sat silently while her father raged. they were all each other had, her father and her, and she wanted to make him proud more than anything. however, he was taken away from her two years later and she was sent to live with his close friends, the delmars. her father had already paid for her tuition to durmstrang and when the time came to go, she did and didn't look back. she had already made up her mind to follow in her father's footsteps.

straight out of durmstrang, having graduated as head girl, she was unsure of what to do. the dark lord had not yet risen and harry potter was in hogwarts. so she began integrating herself into all of the right circles. gaining information for death eaters and supporters, and about them. she slipped easily through crowd, nondescript unless she wanted to be noticed. many spies that weren't careful found themselves having an accident near her more than once. no one knew who did it, and no one suspected her. during this time she went to university and iin her later years decided to attempt for her potions mastery. when the dark lord did rise again, she went to him and pleaded to take the dark mark and serve him. the dark lord accepted her and promised that her father would be freed from azkaban in the future, though he would not give her the mark yet because he planned to take advantage of her infiltrating skills. the dark lord kept his promise, ensuring jelena's loyalty permanently, as if she wasn't already decided, and her father was released. she got only a short time with him before he was thrown back in azkaban and her fury surged. she was now more determined than ever to serve her lord. they had taken her family from her and she would get them back. they would regret it all.

now jelena has been given a new assignment to use her infiltrating and spying skills. after professor sinistra's rather...convenient vacation, the dark lord ordered jelena to take the new position, one she was conveniently well-qualified for, and to send him reports. she was not to act until told otherwise. jelena has been working under her mother's maiden name since she was adopted by the delmars. it was safer that way and helped her now...

*Jelena is not a double agent. She WILL NOT help Dumbledor, she hates him in fact. Her mother was killed by Order members during the first reign, though it was an accident. Regardless of her own beliefs, she would oppose the Order.
*Jelena supports her father, Antonin Dolohov. She was raised by him for the first part of her life and her own was wrapped up in doing what she could to help him.
*The Dark Lord freeing her father, though he would have done so regardless, was what bought her loyalty.
*At the moment NOTHING can sway her opinion.
*She is unmarked so that she can easily spy for the Dark Lord.
*Only Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange know that she is a Death Eater. Her identity has been hidden from all others. Even the fact that she is spying is kept compeltely secret. Should anyone find out or hear rumors, it would be because Luc or Bella betrayed the Dark Lord or disobeyed him by telling another.
