Time:1:00 pm ||| Date: October 1st ||| Place: Weasley's Wizard Wheezes ||| Weather: overcast To person living in Hogsmeade, who rarely enters the famed joke shop, could pass by Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, and not notice today's subtle changes. The biggest difference would probably be that the glittering, light-up sign that hung on the outside of the door, read closed, at 1:00 pm, on a Hogsmeade visit day. Even so, their 'Voldiepoo' sign also seemed to have been given a bit more light. However, by looking through the windows, which are usually populated by displays, showcasing the latest 'Weasley' product, had been emptied. The inside was where things had really changed. Because the numerous shelves that lined the walls, were completely empty, and wooden crates were stacked in the back near the counter, that used to have a display of love potions, and Weasley's finest ton-tounge toffees. The only merchandise that remained in it's place, was the cage of Pygmy Puff, who did seem to notice something different, as they jumped around in their cage, and squeaked more then usual. The ceiling was no longer decorated with hanging spiders, which dropped down on the customers who entered, and the fake, yellow, parakeets (which Fred and George would tell young first years, were people they tested canary creams on) were gone. The purple curtain that usually blocked wandering eyes from entering the back room, was gone, and the shelves inside were bare. Even if you wandered back into the storage room, to the twins’ offices, you would find nothing.
The identical redheads even looked different then normal. A troubled, sorrowful look was apparent on both of their faces. Only, it wasn’t about being made to leave their shop, nor was it about the giant black hole on the left side of George’s head where an ear should be, it was more about – “It really is a shame we can’t get our sign off the front of the building…” Fred said, as he waved his wand, making several chairs appear in the vast, empty space in the middle of their shop.. “It really is” George piped up, as he placed an opened crate on the “and I thought that I had already suffered enough loss this year” he said with a grin.
Meanwhile, two other people occupied the empty Joke Shop. Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley. Ron was currently pacing inside the shop by the window, taking a glance through the glass every few seconds to see if any members of Dumbledore’s army were approaching the shop, so far, there were none. Besides him and Hermione, of course. The day of the Dark Arts incident with Scarlett, he and Hermione both put their heads together, and starting up the DA again seemed to be their only idea. But, with Harry refusing help from others, the group was to be kept in secret from the boy. However, who exactly was going to teach everyone, was the one thing they hadn’t figured out yet. Ron persisted in saying that Hermione should teach everything, just because - well – who exactly would want him to teach them? Besides that minor detail, they had seemed to work out everything. They would use the fake galleons once again to inform people of meetings, and meetings would be held in the room of requirement. Of course, there were hundreds of things that could go wrong – Hermione seemed to like repeating them over and over aloud to herself – But for now, they had no army, with the exception of Dean Thomas, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and Ginny who had all agreed to help.
So, after having stared out the window for a while, he looked back, seeing that Fred and George had managed to set a bunch of chairs up in the middle of the room, all pointed towards the (checkout) counter, in which a small, green, chalk board was now mounted. Out of the corner of his eye he saw people out the window, as he quickly looked back to it, but suddenly felt a swift wave of nausea wash over him, as he noticed their green ties. Slytherins. He hadn’t encountered any of them since his attack on Kisaro in the Entrance Hall. He still carried the evidence that he lost with him. A large, swollen cut on his cheek remained, along with the bruises, which –thankfully – Madame Pomfrey had managed to make loose their purple edge, and now blended in a bit more with his freckles.
Ron quickly turned his back to the window, not really wanting to see who it was passing, as he made his way over to Hermione, who had situated herself to the side of the shop, not saying anything, now. He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it, before leaning back against the bare wall, and glancing back to the closed door, and sighed. He had no clue what he was going to say when everyone got here. That is if people even decided to come. If everything went according to Ron's plan. Hermione, and Neville, and Dean, and Ginny would do all the talking.

Selena glanced around the strangely empty streets of Hogsmeade, as a few sad lookinhg students passed by her scenes of laughter and life haunting her like ghosts. It seemed like a ghost town now-a-days. Ever since the Minister had died, things seemed to have been taking a turn for the worse. And now she was going to a meeting of the DA that her boyfriend didn't even know about. It was true that Harry had refused the help of others and had been gone for hours at a time, looking things up for whatever he was going to do but the boy had a martyr complex worse than Jesus. Worse because he was so damn stubborn. But God help her, that's why she liked him. But she would have to overcome her guilt about this later. Hopefully she could talk to Ron about persuading Harry to see if from their view. They had done it before with the first DA. Although, she hadn't helped them in organizing that one, she had merely joined it. But now it was different. She was much closer to the "Powers That Be" of the DA and eventhough that was true, she felt completely out of the loop about this. Hermione hadn't told her anything about this the last time they talked nor had Ron. But both of them seemed preoccupied lately and by God knows what. Though with Ron, she had a certain idea about why due to his recent run in with Kisaro Hashika on Kaddie Cheshire's behalf. I swear, if Kisaro hadn't bruised him up so bad I would have hit him on the back of his head for being so rash. She thought with a small huff as she continued walked, pulling her overcoat tighter around her. She felt like she was in a scary movie and the feeling increased as she reached the store that had once been Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. It broke her heart to see how barren and downtrodden it looked. And the what had happened to poor George nearly killed her. Things were becoming much darker around here.
She approached the store carefully, looking around, obviously making sure anyone who wasn't supposed to be here wasn't. She spotted a small group of Slytherrins farther away form her and bit her lip anxiously. Was this such a good idea? Holding the meeting in such a busy part of Hogsmeade? Last time it had been held at the Hogs Head and that had worked out marvelously, albeit it had been a little disturbing, but it still had gone quite good. She was apprehensive and most of her friends knew why. Especially Ron and Hermione. She had to keep this from Harry until they were ready to tell him and she wasn't sure she could keep it from him that long. She hadn't done it yet but she could tell that she would hate lying to him about it. Taking another glance around, she scurried over to the front door of the shop and pulled it open, stepping inside quickly. She immediately spotted Hermione and Ron by the counter because there was nothing to block her view. No displays of merchandise, nothing. She gave them a half-hearted smile as her eyes roamed over the shop and then to them. "Looks like I'm early." She said with a small laugh before she walked over to them. The bruise on Ron's cheek commanded ehr attention for a breif moment before she looked away, not wanting to instill thought of what caused that bruise in his mind. Lord only knew how many time she had thought about it since then. She greeted her two friends warmly before lookign at Fred and George. "Hey you two, long time no see." She said in the same warm tone, giving them a smile. "I can't even tell you guys apart now! I used to be able to." She joked, shrugging off her coat.

Felicity Hawthorne strode down the unnaturally vacant streets of Hogsmeade, raising her eyes to glance at the sky. The weather, now dreary and overcast, seemed to exemplify the mood of most of the town’s patrons. Before the death of Scrimgeour, Hogsmeade was bustling and lively; it now seemed empty and forsaken by comparison. Maybe for everyone else, hope seemed withering, but the dark haired girl had her own reasons to remain optimistic...
We have been thinking of reforming the group, due to recent events. If you would be interested in joining once again, please come to WWW in Hogsmeade tomorrow (Saturday) and 1:00 pm.
Felicity brought her gaze back to the pavement before her, smiling at the words that had been scrawled onto the scrap of parchment. She didn’t have the note with her , she wasn’t that careless –if she dropped or lost it…well, it wouldn’t be good for the DA- but she had practically remembered it word for word. After receiving it, she had read it to herself for what must have been a dozen times, each sweep of her hazel eyes had widened the smile on her face. If the DA was reforming, surely something, anything, helpful would result.
“Bout’ time too…” she said to herself, a small puff of mist forming from her lips as she neared Fred and George’s shop. It was already October, and nothing had been done in response to all the horrific changes at Hogwarts, let alone the Wizarding World. Voldemort was at large, Scrimgeour was dead, and the Death eaters had infiltrated the Ministry, in Felicity’s opinion, the reformation of the DA couldn’t have come sooner.
Stopping short of the door, Felicity glanced at her reflection in the window of the now empty display. Under the pretence of checking her appearance, she nervously glimpsed at the streets behind her, checking for anyone who may have been an enemy. The move was little agent 007, but hey, there was no use in being reckless. The DA certainly didn't need any Slytherins to stumbling in on their little oranization. Finding no-one, Felicity tucked a stray lock of dark hair behind her ear and opened the door to the shop, smiling as she did so.
“Hey everyone” she said a bit awkwardly. Only Hermione, Ron, Selena and the twins were in the shop at the moment; she considered them all her allies, and definitely her friends, but she wasn’t exactly a part of the Golden Trio, or even a girlfriend or close relative. Still, they were all members of Dumbledore’s army, and she was feeling more than a little elated at the fact that things were finally getting done around here.

Cain struggled to keep up with the bustling Mickey as they made their way through Hogsmeade. Obviously, the blonde had extreme motive to get to their deisred destination. "Wait up, Mickey!" Cain called from five feet behind her. Neither of them were running, but the Hufflepuff's pace was just a few steps quicker than the taller Ravenclaw's. However, as Cain broke into a jog, he soon caught up. "Listen, I know you want to get to this meeting, but you just have to calm down!" He grabbed Mickey's shoulder, holding her in place as he attempted to confront her. He had made the wrong move. "Calm down, Cain! How can I calm down when our fellow classmates are being tortured and this frickin' key thing is ready to topple Hogwarts! Action should have been taken a long time ago, now there's no time to waste!" With that, she broke free and continued her military march of solitude towards their meeting destination, Weasley's Wizards Wheezes. Of course, this would be the first place anyone would suspect, but there was no other place to conduct this meeting. Everyone just hoped now that the wrong person didn't stumble into the vacated store. Cain now trailed agreeingly ten paces behind, not wanting to get in her way. Of course she had a point, but when such a time occurs, Mickey would sooner snap a friend's head off than allow someone else to control her. As Mickey entered the building closely ahead, Cain flicked her off, rolling his eyes and following suit.
"Morning boys!" she called to the twins and then offered a hello to everyone else individually. In all truth, Mickey just wanted to get ranks and kick some Slytherin and Death Eater ass. She impatiently twirled her wand in her fingers as Cain entered the room. he shook his head, true it was cold out, but he probably did it more for show than any other reason. "Hello," he called to everyone as he joined Mickey, pulling her from her lone spot over towards the small group formed. When she sat on the cold floor to prevent herself from moving, Cain continued on without her. As he reached the group, he looked at everyone, rolling his eyes. "Sorry, she's a little upset. She wanted to start kicking ass the first day of school. Now with word of the recent events occuring, she's a little scared, as am I. This might be worse than Fifth Year. At least then they didn't Crucio anyone..." Cain trailed off until he regained his composure. "But either way, we're both here and ready to do anything. I'm afraid if we don't start soon, Mickey might kill someone on her own accord. Between the Slytherins and the Death eaters here, who knows, she might cause a massacre in class." Cain laughed at himself and looked back at Mickey, who was playing with her wand, her gaze affixiated on a nearby chair. He shrugged it off as he turned back towards the group.

Hermione Granger sat in the all too familiar Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, feeling as if she had never been in that place in her life. It was totally unrecognizable. The walls and shelves were bare, as were the ceilings and window displays. The back room was also quite vacant, and she could hear the twins murmuring someplace she couldn't quite see. Frankly, she was quite impressed at how lively the twins' personal flair had made the small shop. Empty, it's long, echoing rooms seemed dreary and unwelcoming, any shop-owners nightmare. But the twins liked challenges, as she well knew, and they rose to the occasion beautifully. Just how they managed to fund the ordeal, she had yet to find out. But really, that didn't matter. The point was that they had taken time from their blossoming business hours to close up shop and allow Ron and Hermione to hold a secret Dumbledore's Army meeting on their premises. She really hadn't expected them to decline their bid, as they were original members themselves, but that didn't make it any less generous to do so. Leaning back on her chair slightly, Hermione looked around at the empty room, at all the empty chairs, and sighed. She hoped they would come.
Her eyes began to flick back and forth as she watched Ron pace the floor at the front of the store. It almost made her want to snap at him, because it made her more anxious than she already was. But, she refrained, as the air was so thick with emotion she didn't want to cause an uproar before anyone even showed up. At once, her mind began to race with all the possible things that could go wrong, as it had been doing since she and Ron's discussion in the Gryffindor common room a few days earlier. 'It's dangerous reforming the group. A real war is going on now, people could get hurt. How do we know who to trust? Where are we going to hold meetings? Of course, there's the Room of Requirement, but Malfoy knows where that is. One slip up, and it's off to Snape's office with the lot of us. What if someone does spill the beans, like last time? Marietta had gone to every meeting but the last one, and no one suspected her. Without the help of Harry's Maurader's Map, how will we be able to get out of the Room of Requirement without people seeing us? What if someone does see us? The punishment will be far more severe this time around. We all know what happened to Scarlett for just passing a note.'
And at that thought, she stopped. Though the odds seemed against them and the punishments would be tremondous, none of that seemed to matter. A terrible wrong had been done to Scarlett Stone, and for that, they would strike back, covertly as it may be. Things at Hogwarts were becoming out of hand, and out of reach to the one's who truly cared. Deatheaters running the Ministry, and running and teaching the school. Classes were skewed, enemy lines had been drawn, and sides had been chosen. Her mind flitted to Alaric momentarily, but she forced it back to the matter at hand. Their broomcloset meeting occupied her thoughts almost every day, but at the end of it all (with a Ravenclaw named Lian interrupting/freeing them) nothing had happened. Had Alaric simply thought of it as a one time thing? Her heart began to sink, but it immediately began to pound as the tinkle of the bell above the door rang out through the silent room. Ron, who was sitting next to her, seemed to perk up at the sound of someone entering.
Selena Lombard entered the shop, making a comment about how she was early. Hermione beamed at her as she walked by and began chatting with the twins. Once she was out of earshot, she leaned over to Ron and muttered, "Well, that makes one." It was supposed to be a joke, but it had a morbid sense of truthiness [[Colbert<3]] to it. Not long after, a girl Hermione knew only as a Gryffindor walked into the shop. It took Hermione a moment to remember her name was Felicity, and she smiled kindly at the girl as well. Well, two it was. Things were definitely looking up. With almost surprising volume, Mickey Harding and Cain Roberts came into the shop, Cain looking slightly out of breath, but Mickey looking determined. Well, good! That was what they needed; determination. Smiling at the two of them, she sat up a bit straighter in her chair, feeling a bit happier about the whole situation.
"Well, I suppose you expect me to do all the talking?" Hermione inquired of Ron, speaking only loud enough for him to hear.
[[ Meeeeh sorry. Didn't really move things along too much XD ]]

A wide grin broke across Neville's face as her entered Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. However, unlike most the Hogwarts-aged individuals how came through the doors, Neville's smile had nothing at all to do with the scores and scores of pranking goods displayed and scattered across the score. Neville had never had any interest in playing jokes, no Neville simply wasn't smooth enough to pull off the nessecary persona for such a hobby. At the same time though, he was certainly not opposed to the use of joke items in order to get an end result. A dramatic statement even, like the Weasley Twin's grand drop-out annoucement/ mockery of Professor Umbridge in Neville's fifth year.
Spotting Fred, George, Ron, Felicity, Selena, Cain, Mickey and Hermione was the cause of Neville's joy. Granted there were still many bodies missing but this was a start. Running a hand through his dark curly hair, Neville strod through the shop and dropped his bag on the floor. Clapping a quick but firm high five to Ron, Neville flashed Ron a determined smile, though admittedly it did look a tad frazzled. The recent events at the school had been keeping Neville in a grim mood by and large.
"Hey."

To be brutally honest, it was surprising on how long it had token the leaders of Dumbledore’s Army to recruit again. Seriously, how long had it been? Lavender, Easy and Noah were all walking towards WWW, the shop owned by the famous Weasley Twins, Fred and George. Easy Coote, the flirty, rambunctious boy that he was, was playing around with Lavender, poking her and tickling her as they walked. Also, to Noah’s displeasure, he was making jokes. Now, Merlin only knows how bad Easy’s jokes are, but it ended up slipping sooner or later. Well, this was in the perspective of Noah Evans, and he wasn’t in the best of moods as of late. Noah had only told Easy what was wrong; well, one of the several things going wrong at least. Poor Noah, if only the World knew what was bothering the poor boy. The secret of his misery, half of it, was the incident involving said death eater Kendrick Benjamin killing Noah’s father in a bar just mere weeks ago. The blood boiling inside Noah was burning, raging, he was probably the angriest he had ever been, other than the circumstance with Thistle. Easy had only figured out the news because of his extreme nosiness, bugging Noah what was wrong till he busted. And, boy, can Easy tell you, it had been a memory that he was only too happy to forget about. Noah had started to yell at him, taking all his anger out on his best friend. Easy had actually, for once, cowered in fear of Noah’s rage, although not actually, just mentally. Physically, he had stood tall, not letting Noah see the fear he was inflicting upon the proud Gryffindor. Noah’s temper hadn’t seemed to mellow down after that, although he was no longer angry at Easy, although he was basically ignoring him, but still hanging around him. But that could be said for most of Noah’s relations, he avoided people and talking altogether, his rage fuming off of his body each day. It was a rather horrible thing that was beating down on Noah, slowing making him a weaker person by the end. The brilliantly blue eyed boy had his hands clenched into tight fists, his teeth clenched together. His usually loving, warm eyes were filled with anger, but Easy and Lavender weren’t exactly paying attention to him. Well, not by the looks of it. But, really, Lavender stood on the other side of Easy, the side which she was farthest away from Noah, trying her best to avoid him. Easy was rather nonchalant about it all, but it was secretly tearing him apart that Noah’s father had died. He had been a sort of second family to Easy, and to learn that one had died, well, it hurt as much as if his own father had just died. But, Easy dealt with the mourn process a bit better than Noah, obviously. Although, no one could really blame Noah, could they?
The three entered the shop, Lavender skipping off to say hello to everyone as Noah huffed away and sat in a chair, crossing his arms and leaning back, glaring off in another direction. Hm, talk about hating the world. Easy eyed the crowd with longing, he was an extremely social person and the temptation of going and talking to everyone was a yearning, but he resisted it by going and sitting down next to Noah, leaning on his thighs and looking wearily at his friend. Noah glanced at him quickly and then went back to glaring at the wall. Easy sighed and imitated Noah’s stance, leaning back and crossing his arms. And although he did not glare, he watched around at all the people, a bit of sadness seeping into him as he actually had a moment to think.
Meanwhile, Catherine Davis had just entered the shop, hand in hand with Lance Immacolata. Although seeing the circumstances, Catherine seemed to be happy. Well, she was with her boyfriend, so it was really no surprise. Crystal hadn’t been in Catherine’s sight since breakfast, were Catherine had had nothing to eat, like usual. Crystal had left when everyone else had, but somehow Catherine lost her. A pout had come across her angelic face, but was quickly replaced with joy as Lance had slipped his hand into hers. Oh how he could make her feel better about life, it was amazing. Although, the overcast weather did dampen her mood somewhat, although it was mere. One thing was certain, she was glad she had opted for gray skinny jeans instead of shorts when she had dressed herself. Her white turtle neck was also a plus, maybe she had had somewhat of a premonition, how cool! Her Hufflepuff scarf was wrapped around her neck too, a pair of muggle Nike’s on her feet. Eh, they were comfortable enough.
Upon entrance, Catherine saw the small group of people and quickly skipped over to them, accidentally letting go of Lance’s hand in the process. Without noticing anything at first, Catherine ran over to the group of people and grinned madly at them, saying her hellos to everyone. She had barely noticed the two boys in the corner, both in her year, and both to her acquaintance. But, she shrugged of the fact that Noah Evan’s had looked like he wanted to kill the next person to say hi to him, and she ignored the fact that she would be scared for her life to be Easy Coote, the boy sitting next to him. But, after all, they were best friends, and best friends just didn’t abandon each other because one was mad. But, of course, she remembered her best friend Thistle and Noah Evan’s relationship. Eek, she didn’t even want to get started on that. Scary stuff, dangerous territories and such. Hm, well, this wasn’t what she was here to do, think about stuff like that. This meeting was about fighting you know who! And the fact that his name was now tabooed only made it more scarier to be alive at such times. Catherine was completely petrified, although she managed to conceal it under her happy personality, but you could see it in her eyes, she was worried; worried and scared shitless.

Colin Creevey had practically been sitting on the edge of his chair since he had first heard about the army being started back up. Naturally, nobody wanted to be the first to tell Colin about the meetings. It wasn't the fact that they didn't want him to come (Because why wouldn't they? Colin Creevey was clearly the life of the party), but moreso because Colin literally had a spaz the last time he had heard about Dumbledore's Army back in fourth year. Recently, Colin had been lurking around the common room when he had first heard the news- or rather, overheard. Seamus and Dean had been talking about the sign up (that apparently, Colin didn't see yet.) when Colin popped up, and practically tripped right over the sofa ontop of the two of them. His face had completely gone red and the permanent smile etched onto his baby face seemed to stick almost continuously throughout the week, and he was slowly counting down the days on his Harry Potter calender (hand made, by the way.) It wasn't that Colin was solely excited to see Harry Potter- that was 90% of the situation, but the rest of him actually enjoyed the meetings. Things needed to be done and Colin understood that just as much as everyone else did, and now was the best time to learn how to defend oneself. Dumbledore was dead, and there was definitely no doubt in Colin's mind that deatheaters were behind it- Dumbledore was practically one of the strongest wizards Colin got the pleasure of meeting, and he doubted that something silly could have boughten the man down so easily. Colin understood that although he would like everything in the wizarding world to continue to be hearts, rainbows, and harry potter, he came to terms with the fact that this year wasn't going to be as easy as his first five.
Colin had combed his hair to perfection (taking him about fifteen minutes, though within three it stuck up in the messy manor that is usually did), and anticipated this moment the same way that a child would anticipate a trip to the muggle Disneyworld. He had polished his wand, ironed his clothing for once- and overall, put a new roll of film into his camera. Dressed in a casual attire of a white and blue striped polo-shirt and blue jeans, the camera clad boy made his way to the meeting place. Heart racing, the boy's thin fingers clenched at the sides of his camera which would almost be considered crushing if the camera wasn't reinforced with it's thick plastic shell. Weasley...Whizzle.. something? Well, Colin was never a big fan of the red-headed boy, nor did he pay that much attention to the smart girl who was usually on Potter's other side. He made it his sole purpose to specifically be one hundred percent for Potter and everything he believed in- Because really, Colin was Harry's number one fan. Now if only he could remember the name of the place. Whistle.. something?
He was ten minutes late before he finally discovered the place (mostly because he was sure that there was going to be a W somewhere in the name of it, as well as 'Weasley'), and with a familiar jingle of door bells, Colin entered into the colourful and crowded shop. He scouted among the shelves, past a display of extendable ears. Finally, the Gryffindor boy spots the familiar heads of his older classmates, and swerving past a few blond hufflepuffs with only a knock of shoulders, he finds his position right beside Ron Weasley. "Hey guys!" He exclaimed with much more enthusiasm then needed, hooking his arm around the shoulders of a disgruntled Hermione Granger, pulling her close, and pulling his Camera up infront of them to snap a quick (and bright picture of the two of them.) His grin is horribly large, and he withdraws from the muggleborn girl to give her time to adjust while the blotchniness fades from her vision. Moments later, the twitchy boy manages to squeeze out the question that everyone knows is going to be asked. "Where's Harry?"
Tt seems like it would almost be considered a sin to tel the boy the truth- that Harry wasn't here. Yet.

Seamus was running late. Oh Merlin. His lack of punctuality was not entirely uncharacteristic, but that did not make it any more acceptable. Though he seemed almost oblivious to that courtesy. Truth be told he had lost track of time, wandering around in Honeydukes and whatnot. Somehow he had managed to lose track of the several people he was with in the shop. They had left him, how nice. Good thing he had supportive friends. This was, however, quite a serious meeting he was about to attend. And, well, serious things did not sit entirely well with Seamus. He managed to find the humor in almost anything and only concentrate on that. The boy was somewhat sheltered, however not spoiled. And he kind of took the DA as more of a social group than the army that some other people probably did. He recalled the old DA as he briskly made his way down the cobblestone streets to the correct shop, he could practically get there with his eyes closed, having been quite the frequent customer. The first Dumbledore's Army was something he had joined almost impulsively, after Harry had given the interview in the Quibbler he had been quick to owl it to his mother, finally seeing the correct side of things. Naturally he wanted to join the group that most of his friends were already apart of. Part of it was Seamus liked to belong to things, it was like Quidditch. In a way he sort of depended on other people probably more than he should, he much preferred company to being on his own and caught up in both thoughts and possibilities. Little did anyone else know, he was not incredibly eager to go out and fight Voldemort...but, alas, he was on his way.
Finally striding tall into the predetermined meeting place, he set his gaze on the ample group that had already begun to congregate. Guilt set in for only a moment, until he spotted Mickey. Perhaps he was no longer so tightly attached at the hip to the girl, but he was still her boyfriend. And he felt obliged to see her first. Simply raising a hand in greeting to those that looked to the doorway to see the newcomer, he made his way over to the blonde girl. Oh Merlin, she was fingering her wand already, which he met with a mixture of pride and apprehension. Truth be told, she could probably beat him in a duel, and being the big, masculine guy that Seamus was, he was not entirely comfortable with that. All the same, he ended up behind her, drumming both fingertips on her shoulders and leaning down to bestow a kiss atop her head. What a sweetheart. It was how he usually greeted her, in group situations like this anyway. He liked to think he was surprising her, only there was little chance of that, as Mister Finnigan was not exactly a taciturn person.
Though his outfit was far from remarkable, he sported a pair of dark denim jeans, the amount of creases suggesting that they were well broken in and he had owned them for quite awhile. The slight chill in the autumn air prompted him to throw on a navy turtleneck, and the way that his hair stuck up slightly suggested that he had just recently thrust his head through the neck hole. However that was untrue, he just had failed to thoroughly comb his hair.
A moment later he looked up to further investigate the scene. His blue eyes immediately set on Creevey. Oh lord. There was that camera again, though he could not entirely be surprised by that. Some people had made the joking comparison that he and Colin were alike sometimes, as far as personality went. And, truth be told, it scared Mister Finnigan a little. Therefore he mentally made a point to not encourage Colin quite so much this time, lest they appear too similar. As Seamus was generally the one to share in Colin's enthusiasm for...life, as it was. He was just that kind of person, though secretly considering himself "too cool" for the sixth year. There was Hermione and Ron, leaders for now, as Mister Potter seemed to be running late as well. Thankfully Mister Finnigan was not the only one, had he still been feeling a bit bad about making a late appearance that fact would have mollified him. Selena and Felicity were here too, but where was Miss Stone? He made a mental note to chide her about her lateness when she arrived, she did not have to know that he was late as well and therefore being a complete hypocrite. Easy and Noah were here, they were pretty cool as far as Seamus was concerned. And Lavender, he tossed a roguish smile at her for the heck of it, having spent more time than he had in a few years this year. Then some Hufflepuffs that Seamus did not immediately recognize, or was not immensely close with. He had no qualms with anyone, thus far at least. Save for perhaps Colin, but he was not that bad. It was getting to be quite the full house.

Scarlett threw open the door to WWW. Her blue-green eyes scanned over all the bodies as she quickly walked in. Scarlett had been running late because she over-slept. She had over-slept because she had a hard time sleep at night since the Crucio had happened. She would be able to sleep for about forty-five minutes and then she would wake up in a cold sweat trembling lightly. Scarlett would try her best to go back to sleep after that but she would end up lying wide-awake for about an hour.
Scarlett's new sleeping schedule really was not working for her. She was usually cranky these days or just plain out of it. She had been zoning out at random times, which made it hard for people to grasp her already short attention span or for her to concentrate on something. Most people understood why she was so tired but others were just oblivious.
Scarlett fixed the white beanie that was on the top of her head as she walked over to Neville. She smiled a little and then said "Sorry I overslept." she then looked over at George and couldn't help but stare at the black hole.

With hands stuffed in coat pockets, and eyes staring down at the ground in front of him, Dean Thomas walked up the cobblestone streets of Hogwarts. It wasn't 'cold', necessarily, but a bucket of shivers ran up and down his spine none the less. More so, because of what was going on in the wizarding world right now. The ministry had been taken over, and escaped death eaters were all over the place. Plus with recent events in Hogwarts, the one place that he thought he would be safe at, he wasn't so sure anymore. Ever since the last Dark Arts class, and Scarlett had been 'punished' with the Cruciatus Curse, he had found himself walking wearily down the hallways, and definitely taking the time, to go a long route when going down to dinner, just so as to avoid having to walk past the Carrows' classrooms. As it would seem, he had not been the only one to take the school's new rules to heart. It had been one Hogwarts' biggest gossip stories, and surely everyone knew by now. Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger had even planned on reforming the DA, contacting himself, Neville, Ginny, and Luna to help it along. Of course, Dean had accepted. The biggest difference, though, was Scarlett. There wasn't any jump in her step anymore, and almost everything about her had dampened. Her ability to speak, her tone, her volume, even her curly, blond hair seemed to have less bounce to it. It was a strange thing for Dean to be without - Scarlett's normal personality, that is - as he had never seen her when she wasn't like her normal self. Whenever he walked somewhere with her, it was almost like walking with a zombie, quiet as ever, feet dragged slowly across the floor, and a smile never gracing her mouth. It all felt out-of-place when there wasn't the sound of Scarlett chatting along to Ron or Selena in the commonroom every night, and he often found himself asking if she was 'okay' a lot. She probably got annoyed with him after a while, but it was just a habit of his, worrying about people. Especially when it was someone who normally he would never have to worry about.
Dean turned the corner, glimpsing into Honeydukes as he passed, before his eyes focused upon Weasley's Wizard Wheezes straight ahead. He could see lots of people in there, picking out Fred, George, and Ron Weasley easily - what with that hair of theirs - along with Lavender, Catherine, and Lance. He quickened his pace slightly, as he reached the store, pulling his hands from his pockets, and turning the door handle, opening, and closing it softly behind him. One of his natural smiles fled to his lips, as he saw just how many people had shown up. There was Selena, Felicity, Cain and Mickey, Hermione was over by Ron, and he found the two that were already seated on chairs, were Noah and Easy. He took another quick glance over towards Ron and Hermione, who were leading the meeting today, surely they had some plan of action, although, they were obviously murmuring words back and forth, so, planning it now, maybe. He took a few steps forward, as his eyes paused on Scarlett, standing closely next to Neville. He walked over, placing one his dark hands on her shoulder, and flashing her an encouraging, hopeful look, as if trying to cheer her up slightly. But, the chance of it working, was not high. "Hey, Neville" he said to the boy next to her, before turning around, and saw Seamus, who at the moment was placed close-by Mickey. Now, don't get Dean wrong, he was glad that Seamus had a girlfriend, and was happy for both of them. But, he couldn't help but letting a small twinge of jealously erupt inside of him when he spotted Seamus and Mickey together. He and Seamus spent a good amount of time together, in classes, and during the night in the common room. But, the time he spent with Mickey, was still time that he didn't spend with him. It was bothering him more then usual - and more then he wanted it to - just because, it seemed like everyone in his house had someone. Neville was often busy with Scarlett, Selena and Harry, Merlin knows where Ron and Hermione are gone all the time.
But, switching his attention back to his sandy-blond haired best friend, he walked over to where Seamus Finnigan, and Mickey Harding were. "Hey Sea" he grinned, greeting him with a raise of his hand, in a sort of casual effort-less wave. "-Mickey" he then added quickly, smiling at her too. "How are you?" he asked them both, not really targeting his question on anyone, because his eyes had shifted past Mickey, to the side of George's head, which had a large, black hole, which made him feel slightly sick. He tore his eyes away, gulping, he didn't particularly want to know what Fred, or George had gone through, because he had a gut feeling that it wouldn't be helping his fear of walking alone be healed anytime soon.

"Oi! Stone! Didn't my mother ever tell you that it isn't polite to stare at those who are.... less fortunate?" George piped up from the corner, as he caught Scarlett's eyes transfixed on the side of his head. He walked over, being closely followed by his brother. "And don't worry about me, I need no sympathy. I've had an ear-full already" he grinned. If you only were able to hear the younger twins' voice, you would not be able to think that anything tragic (such as loosing an ear) had happened to him recently. His voice remained in it's cheery tone, and despite everything that was going on, a grin continued to remain on his face. The twins knew better then to bring up what had happened with Scarlett. Of course they knew exactly what had happened that class, the two seemed to know everything anyway. They had been outraged, but with everything else that has happened as of late, they hadn't had much time to worry about one thing. There was George's ear - which only the rest of the Weasley family had been notified about - and then there was the closing-down of their shop, which was another devastating blow. Then, there was something else that seemed to be bothering Fred, which was being kept to himself. George had noticed this, and taken it upon himself to work on cheering up his brother first, before the rest of the depressed motley crew. Besides, two was better then one.
The twins then turned their heads in exact unison, to respond to Selena. "ahaha, how witty you are" Fred stated, a clear stress of sarcasm in his voice, however, a small smirk was on his face nonetheless. George shot a glance over towards Ron and Hermione, a chuckle rising in his throat as he saw Colin Creevey coil his arm around Hermione's and snap a picture, with the surprised girl. He pulled his wand from his back pocket, and muttered an incantation, as the glass windows to the store, tinted. No longer would un-wanted peepers be able to see inside the store, and with the 'closing down' sign that was now conjured up onto one of the windows on the outside, wouldn't make people think twice of it's darkened space.
((Oh god. I need to work on thinking up some ear jokes -SIGH- you will all have to bare with whatever horrible reference I can come up with))
And then BOOM! Everyone arrived. Selena had entered the emptying shop first, talking to his twin brothers first, but not before taking a swift glance at his facial injuries. Great. Ron thought dryly to himself, as he placed a hand over his cheek in hopes of covering his ugly wound, which could easily have been taken for placing his fingers to his temple. "Well, that makes one." "Well, I suppose you expect me to do all the talking?" He opened his mouth to whisper a response, but, soon after, Felicity entered the shop, then Mickey and Cain, Neville, Noah and Easy and Lavender, then Catherine. There was a few minute break, as several sat down, Ron returned Neville's high-five, and merely watched as the room filled. But, soon enough, the door started opening again, and Colin, Seamus, Scarlett, and Dean entered. Each person seemed to find their friends, as Seamus walked over to Mickey, followed by Dean. Scarlett went over to Neville, and he was surprised to see Colin start to approach Hermione and himself.
However, a loud laugh escaped his lips, as he saw the look on Hermione's taken face, as she had Colin link arms with her, and flash the camera in her eyes, before asking 'Where's Harry? Ron should have expected Colin would ask this, after all, he had been following his best friend ever since he came to Hogwarts. So, rather then getting Colin's knickers in a twist, he said "Uhh... hes not coming, today" he said, truthfully. He then scooted closer towards Hermione along the wall, as he lend his head over, and finally replied to her comments that she made earlier. "No. Not all the talking," he said, a small grin appearing on his face "Do you think the rest will be coming soon, or shall we have them sit?" he asked her, straightening up, and turning his head to look at her, waiting her her decision. As organizing other people, was definitely not his area of expertise.

Aliadane walked quickly down the Hogsmeade road towards Wealsy's Wizard Wheezes. She had been in deep though since she left Hogwarts that morning. With everything going on, and with you-know-who making open attacks, it was only too soon that the leaders of the DA had finally called everyone together once more. Alia had hoped that things would stay normal a bit longer, but after what happened to George's ear, and Scareltt, Alia had come to realize, that her life, as she knew it, may be ending. She walked briskly, letting a few tears fall before brushing them away. Soon, she stood in front of the once bustling shop, but there were few around now. She pushed open the door with a small heave, then let it close quietly behind her.
Inside, there were several students, though not a lot. There was Seamus and Mickey, Cain, Selena, Ron, Hermoine, Felicity, Noah, Easy, Lavander, Catherin, Collin and Dean. Most of them were Gryffindors, and the ones that weren't she knew through association with other Gryffindors. Walking quietly over to her roomate, Alia said, "Hello," as she quickly passed others, then, "Hey, Hermione." She gave the girl a quick look, then sat in a chair by her.
Veronica walked quietly through the growing stillness that was Hogsmeade now a days. Shaking her head silently, she was beginning to understand the depth of how much you-know-who was reaching. She knew slightly about Scarletts incounter with Alecto, and it scared her. The only reason she was comming today, was because Collin had asked her to come with him. And somehow, she had missed him. Hoping that he was already there, Veronica enter the seemingly deserted shop. But once inside, it was bustling with people. Veronica had no idea who most were, though she knew she had seen one or two of them in her own common room, and the rest mainly in classes through out the years. Finally sighting Collin, she walked over. "Hey." she said, for it was all she could manage at the moment.
Chad bustled through the empty streets. Looking at his watch, he thought, "Merlin. Im late." Weasly's Wizard Wheezes was located just up a head, though exactly where he had never been sure. He saw a blonde girl going into an empty shop up ahead of him, and he studied the surrounding students. Most seemed to have either not seen the girl, or didnt care where she was going. Following her, he pushed open a heavy door. Within, the room was emtpy, though it was full of people. Chad had found it. True, he didnt know all but one or two people in the room, but he was there on behalf of his beliefs. Things had become so bad this year, and he was willing to do anything to help. Finding an empty chair near the door, he sat quietly, not saying anything, but immersing himself in his thoughts.

Luna Lovegood loved the DA, so it was rather unexpected of her to show up late for the first meeting of the revived organization. That would be of course if Dave hadn't been slowing her down due to his worries about seeing his old friends again who wouldn't recognize him. not to mention there was the plot both of them had thought up shortly after his meeting with Lav in the Astronomy Tower. She still managed to skip with him trailing beside her as he was nearly dragged along side due to them holding hands. Although she did look forward to the meetings once again, she still had the confidence and faith that everything was going o work out alright in the end. These changes at the school were only temporary. They would find some was to defeat Voldemort and rid the school of the unwelcome changes. These changes didn't stop her from doing what she did best, which was be herself. Luna was one who remained constantly content despite the happenings around her. There was no reason to dampen her spirits by worrying about a problem that would soon go away. People she knew were upset and she tried her best to comfort them, especially those closest to her. Somebody needed to be the beacon of light in all this darkness She always seemed to fill in that position with hr constant upbeat attitude, cheerfulness, and undying optimism. The DA meetings were some of the things she loved, it was like having friends. Well, more friends than she already did. It was where she had met some of the people closest to her in addition to finding love in the form of a certain Gryffindor girl. At least people weren't teasing her there [not that she cared either way] it was still nice of them to pay attention to her positively for a change. Not wanting to be any more late than she probably already was, she picked up her pace. The first meeting was not something to be missed.
On the other hand, Dave was not looking forward to the first meeting of Dumbledore's Army. It would really be the first time outside of classes where he had the chance to interact with all his old friends he knew from before. All of hem knew David Harper to some degree, but none of them aside from Luna knew Jack Fieldman. He would be a stranger to them, some random nobody who only appeared as Luna's plus one and close friend. Well, more than friends actually with the plot they had decided to implement. They would act as lovers in the company of others, flirting, snogging, and the traditional things people would see couple do these days. The intent was to get both Lavender and Alana jealous enough to confront their respective partner and either confess how they felt or work on getting back together. Dave still loved Lav, Alana never stopped loving Luna and his friend seemed to return those feelings. He had to admit the two girls were cute together and often found their occasional personality clash amusing. Even he differed from Luna in some points, fashion was clearly an example. He couldn't help but stare at the bright purple blouse she was wearing, the blue vest over it, her bright yellow skirt, and rainbow leggings. Of course her radish earrings and butterbeer necklace were worn at all times. That was a complete contrast to his simple choice of a plain t-shirt and ripped pair of blue jeans. He did admire Luna for expressing herself so vibrantly without caring what anyone said, that was a form of bravery. Finally the two arrived at WWW, Dave gulped to calm his fears as he entered. Instantly he recognized almost everyone there, but only two girls here knew who he was. Lav was there, but there was no sign of Alana. He continued to look around nervously as Luna dragged him along, greeting the other leaders of the organization.

Frick frick frick frick... Zoey thought as she zoomed through the streets of Hogsmeade. She was late. And noarmally she wasn't late to anything -most especially a meal- but this was much more important that eating. Perspectively. In reality nothing was really more important to Zoey than eating because eating kept her alive! And above all, eating usually was a wonderful experience, especially when to food was yummy. She readjusted her coat as ashe ran, trying to avoid hitting as many people as possible, which wasn't hard because there weren't that many people outside to begin with. But those who were must have had the strangest need to just stop right in the path so suddenly that she did end up hitting a few of them. But that was there fault, they were the ones who stopped. having finally been allowed to go to Hogsmeade the year before, the young blonde knew her way around the small village and she definately knew where Ron's older brother's store was. Mostly because the sign was the most brightly colored and because of all the wicked awesome products in the front window. So when she glanced at the front window of the the famed WWW, she almost fell beause she feet stopped moving. THERE WAS NOTHING THERE! She couldn't believe it. Had the Ministry closed them down? NO! They couldn't! Well... actually they could. But that didn't make it any righter. A pout took over her face and she folded her arms stubbornly. They just couldn't shut down the store! She would owl her father and ask him to pull some strings for the boys so that they could keep their store! Yes, she would do that. As quickly as the pout had arrived it was gone, replaced by a brght adorable smile of satisfaction. Her arms dropped from across her chest and she fixed herself as much as she could as many things became misplaced when one ran. the small blonde girl ran her hand over her hair to smooth it out before she walked up the to front door of the WWW and opened it, stepping in from the October chill. Wow... There are a lot of people here. She thought and then mentally kicked herself for being late. The door shut behind her and she glanced around the room, a smile still on her face. So many people! Mostly Gryffindors but she was good friends with a few Gryffindors. Speaking of which... Where was Ron? She moved forward and craned her neck as she looked around the small shop, trying to see over the taller and older people around her. She spotted two head of red hair but decided that those must be the heads of Fred and George so she continued looking. Then she saw it, a head of red next to the bushy brown mane of another and she grinned wider. She hadn't even said hello to anyone yet, much less announced her presence but she shifted through the group of students like a ninja, planning her next move diligently until she came upon her target. She was next to him and she climbed onto the stool quietly and reached out, her hand stroking the back of his head. Yes, she was petting Ron Weasley. But it wasn't like she hadn't done it before. She just loved his hair so much. It was so pretty and red and for some reason it was much softer than hers. She would have to ask Ron what shampoo he used. From her perch on the stool she could see who was here already and she beamed once more at seeing Chad there, along with Mickey and Catherine and Lance. Her Hufflepuff buddies! She raised her hand up in the air - the one that had been petting Ron's head for fear that he would swat it away- and called to him. "CHAD!" She had seen Mickey earlier in their dorm rooma dn the girl was insane at the moment so she didn't bother to greet the older girl. She knew Mickey very well and did NOT want to get mixed up in that as much as Cain was. And she would have called out to Catherine and Lancie-Pants but they were looking quite lovey dovey at the moment and since she didn't want to disturb that, she had called out to the Hufflepuff in her year. She and Cahd were very good friends and often were together, along with Dennis but he had seemed very busy lately. Maybe Gryffindors got much more homework because Snape didn't like them(Her conspiracy theory). She didn't know but with Dennis's sudden absence from her life she had been spending much more time with Chad. She remained on the stool for a bit longer, quickly lowering her hand to brush Ron's hair again before she bounded off the stool toward her friend. She greeted Chad with a hug, as she did most of her friends and then gave him an innocuous grin. "When did you get here?" She asked curiously with a small air of excitement. This really was exciting, truth be told. She had only been a second year when the original DA had been formed and had been deemed too young to join. But now she was a fourth year and perfectly capable of joining. Given the circumstances for the group being reformed, it seemed like a last resort but it brought people together, fighting for what was right, and she was glad to be a part of that.
