General Appearance: Abbi looks VERY similar to her older sister, Alison. However, she is slightly less curvy and her hair is a little shorter. She is short and petite, yet has womanly curves in all the right places. Her hips are round, her chest is fairly well endowed and her waist is slim. Now she would like to lose some weight, but what girl wouldn't? Her eyes are large and teal colored, and her skin is naturally rosy but extremely pale. Her hair is curly and a red color that sticks out like a sore thumb in a crowd. Her mouth is full and her smile is wide. Her nose is small and slightly rounded and her cheeks are high. She generally wears her hair down and curly or up in a messy ponytail or bun. SHe has a lot of hair and it tends to be frizzy without magic. Like her sister, she is beautiful, but more of an ethereal beauty rather than supermodel type. Her facial features are delicate and soft and her appearance is dainty. However, don't ever underestimate her. She has the appearance of a renaissance painting model, rather than Heidi Klum or Keira Knightley. Her eyes are large and they pull you in of you're not careful, and she has an influential personality that you have to be cautious of. She and her sister are a force to be reckoned with, and if it weren't for the age difference, you'd think them twins. Abbi has a few more freckles than Alison and she is a little more demure. But not much.
Dressing Style: Feminine and classy, but not according to any fad. She loves dresses and skirts but prefers jeans to robes any day. Old-Fashioned type garments are her favorite and she LOVES historical costumes.

Personality:

General Character Traits: Abbi is a fun loving carefree girl most of the time. She'll walk right up to you and make friends before you can even get away. She loves to talk, but knows when to listen. She is brave and naively fearless to a fault. The only phobia she has is snakes (like her sister) and she is open to anything but that. Her childhood has been sheltered and she hardly knows the dangers of this world. She trusts easily, and is easy to trust.

She is very moody though, and her feelings can be very sensitive. She has had problems with mental illness in the past, and she has also had to deal with a sleeping disorder. This is genetic and runs in the McGinn family. She can switch between suicidal and cheerful at the drop of a hat. Her temper is very Irish and redheaded. She has a temper like a bottle-rocket and you don't want to provoke her. However, if you're honestly a good person, she generally won't have any problems. She will defend those who can't defend themselves, stand up to ANY bully or cruel person and will protect those she loves to her last breath. No matter what needs to be done, she'll do it. She's always the one to pick the crumpled roll out of the basket or pick the underdog of any team.

She is nerdy to the extreme and beyond intelligent. She reads all the time and has an absurd interest in literature. She loves acting and singing like her sister, but is more into classical literature and romance novels than anything else. Horror as well. Her face can always be found in a book and libraries are like heaven to her! She can be a know-it-all but is generally open-minded.

She is messy and creative and her mind is ALWAYS working. She daydreams alltogether too much, and she and her sister make a wonderful pair of those in their own world. She forgets things easily and finds trouble even easier. Her attention span is short and she gets restless easily, but she'll try to stay put.

She's a kind person and is generous to a fault. She'll gladly take a bullet for a stranger or give her coat to anyone who needs it. She is an idealist who generally loves most people. She HATES prejudice and cruelty and Slytherins are not among her favorite people. She may seem kind and gentle but don't underestimate this girl, she's a spitfire.

Parents: Mother is an American Witch, and father is an Irish muggle.
Siblings: Alison McGinn (professor), Adam and Jennifer.
Background Story: Her family life is a happy one and she's close to all. She went through a lot with her mental illness and her family's mental illness, but survived and is able to help others because of it. Her whole family (except her father of course) attended Hogwarts and she has always looked forward to it. She loves Hogwarts and plans to join Dumbledore's Army soon. Hopefully eventually the Order of the Phoenix.
