Is your character responsible? Is he or she a model student that wants nothing more then to have a educational place devoid of any problems? Well then you're character could be a prefect!Of course we can't accept everyone, but if you're good we'll take you. :] And please keep in mind the type of characters that should be prefects and deserve it. The Hogwarts staff isn't dumb, afterall. :] They know who to pick.
NOTE: Prefects are chosen: Two from each house, one boy and one girl each. These prefects then continue their positions through their current year. The seventh year, one Head Boy and one Head Girl are chosen from the eight seventh year prefects. There is a total of 1 Head Boy, 1 Head Girl, 11 female prefects, and 11 male prefects.head boy & head girl Draco Malfoy & Hermione Granger Males: Open & Open Females: Alana Harper & Open

Name: Whitley Campbell Year: Sixth House: Slytherin Why your character should be a prefect: Whitley is capable of being prefect simply because she has the compassion of a rock. Why, may you ask, is this something that a prefect should have? Well, people with an actual heart let their emotions get in the way of their duty, but since Whitley doesn’t have any, she is focused when on the job. There is no such thing as a short attention span in Whitley, she could walk around for hours on the job and not think a thing of it. That, and Whitley doesn’t believe in light punishment. If you did something wrong, you better believe that she’ll go hard on your ass. She does not pick favorites, go light on friends, nothing. So, don’t think she’ll go light on you just because you are in her house or are friends with one of her friends, or is even one of her very few friends, not going light on anybody means not going light on anybody. Whitley’s grades are above average, she pushes herself and she is her own support system, since she has no one else to fill that place. Her relationships with the teachers are neither good nor bad, just respectful. She only respects her elders if she thinks they are worthy of her respect, which is very hard to grasp. Not a lot of people can gain Whitley’s friendship, let alone her respect. She lets no one get in the way of her life; emotion’s will just get in the way of ambitions.

Name: Cassandra McAvoy Year: Seventh House: Ravenclaw Why your character should be a prefect: Cassandra is a hard-working girl, that is widely known. If you give her a job, she'll make sure it's finished, whether she likes it or not. She's also very responsible. She knows right from wrong, and what deeds to punish and which to let off with a warning. Plus, Cassy knows Hogwarts very well pretty much inside and out, so she's become very good at catching wrongdoers in secret places. Really, Cassy is just a very responsible young woman.
