um... I wrote a poem and this is my lame attempt to translate it into that most beautiful of tongue, following quenya grammer rules (although I fudged the vocab where I needed to....) so, uh, yeah. here it is:
Fanuilos, Elbereth,
nallon lle esse iaure rei
isi talet-nin raeber bade-dur,
ar nin-nainiello uegle lye.
Si, isi echuro rilde rello dhol-nin
are bad pelan pella im na talath
rinan vane elena.

White one, Queen of heaven,
in earlier days I cried to you
when my feet wandered dark ways
and you did not turn you face from my lament.
Now, when the bright light of day warms my face,
and the path I tread is clear before me,
I don't forget the beauty of the stars.
