We finally managed to remove the malware from the LoM, and the site is back to normal, and is safe to browse once more. :)

We suspect that nothing is lost from the site, other than maybe some comments/reviews if they were added after we just very recently backed up the site. But should you notice that your story/chapter is missing, that it was there before the malware, and isn't there now. Please mail us.

We also urge you to do a virus and/or malware scan on your computer if you visited the site during it's downtime. And we suggest that you also change your password, if you logged in just prior, or during this whole ordeal.

We have no way of knowing if the hackers can just override what we did, so if you experience the site acting odd, don't hesitate with mailing us.

Thanks for the update. I got worried when I had a Glorfindel-fic desire and went to surf the other day. Theeeen I see the note in the other section. I was pretty freaked out!

But I did a scan and things are aaaall good. :D

Don't worry... I did a scan and my comp should be clean. Virus; seem to be making the rounds or is it... me? :huh:
