Hi guys,
I know I don't post much in here lately, but I found these links for the new LotR spin-off films in my LJ flist today, and thought of LoM.
I'm sure most of you will have heard of them before:
Born of HopeThe Hunt for GollumThey both look like very promising films. Shot in England in places such as the Lake District with professional actors, amazing sets, costumes and scenery; Orcs that resemble those from the LotR films, and even the chance to appear as an extra.

Hmm, well in my excited haste I made a couple of boo boos. The shooting in the Lake District is yet to be confirmed, and Denise already posted up a link about them.
I was just refreshing the memory, of course. :D
And yes, HEL, we should all definitely post up our own reviews on them.

Just noticed that it is now aval to watch.
Ok have just finished watching it and other than a few plot holes I thought it was really good. I loved the potryal of Aragorn and thought the fight scenes were good

hah, I also watched it a while ago.
But, like I've feared and like you said, tfutcher, sometimes there's just a lack of happenings! And ... the elf in the end (should that be Legolas or so? ) , come on, that was kind of a weird ending.
But! One has to say the crowd did an awful amazing job! The pictured landscape was beautiful and the actors were credible. Oh, and the goblins... wonderful!
Their black blood and well... ^-^
Was absolutely worth watching it!
