I don't know why, but I've suddenly become interested in Doctor Who whump stories. Usually, I'll read them, but I won't actively look for them. I just like me a good comfort after some hurtin' story. So, I have a rec to share...and please share any type of Doctor Who or Torchwood fic recs (not just whump; anything's good!)

Here is the page on Teaspoon and an Open mind for Adalia Zandra. A lot of her stories are wonderfully written.

"Growing Pains" is very good, but it's a WIP, so steer clear if you don't like WIPs. It describes events after Voyage of the Damned and how the Doctor is coping with himself.

The other one of hers that I really, really recommend is "Sense." OMFG--it is made of awesome. Nothing I can say can do it justice. I've read it maybe three or four times...I just think it's really good. Main characters are the Tenth Doc, Rose, and Jack. They are captured by an alien and the poor Doctor is subjected to some unpleasant treatment.

So, that's all I have so far for recs; that one author. I have really just started reading DW and TW fiction, to be honest...
