He missed him. He missed him so much.
Now it wasn't like he wasn't happy. He was married to a beautiful wife. He had wonderful children. But nothing would ever....could ever fill the hole left by the one hobbit he missed the most.
It had been years since Frodo Baggins had left Hobbiton. Left to never come back, moving on to bigger and better things. He had heard from Frodo a couple of times, but after a while it gets difficult to catch up when times are moving on.
He still had other friends of course, he would always have Merry and Pippin. He could talk to them as close friends but they would never know the truth, and they would never think to inquire deeply enough to find out, to ask what was wrong, to try and comfort his hidden emptiness.
He had that memory though. That was something he could never lose. He would always have the experience, remember the feelings from that night oh so long ago.
It was the night before Frodo left. Of course he didn't know Frodo was planning to leave. Maybe he wouldn't have been so bold if he had known. The night made it so much harder to say goodbye, knowing it would never happen again. He was glad it did happen though. He had seen Frodo sitting, looking out toward the horizon, thinking.
Frodo had changed, they had all changed, but Frodo the most. It was understandable of course, but he couldn't help missing the old Frodo, the Frodo untouched by and ignorant to the horrors outside Hobbiton. He had gone up beside Frodo, and sat for a while.
He looked to Frodo and saw pearly tears glinting in the moonlight. He had tried to comfort, tried to reassure. He wasn't sure how it had happened exactly. He just remembered looking into those crystal blue eyes. Those beautiful eyes that seemed to see and know everything and showed great wisdom. He leant in, his lips finding their partners. He could feel the brush of Frodo's eyelashes, damp against his cheek. He could feel Frodo's breath on his face. His lips parted, Frodo mirroring his actions, their tongues fighting for control.
He pushed Frodo onto his back, unbuttoning his shirt with a fervent urgency, needing to touch his skin. He ran his fingers lightly over the pale chest in front of him, hovering for a second over the scar at his shoulder. He moved toward Frodo, pushing himself into him, kissing him again, more passionately this time. His hands moved towards Frodo's breeches unbuttoning them, he took Frodo in his hand, Frodo's gasp of pleasure getting him aroused and more eager. He moved his hand in swift strokes, slowly at first, then quickening, Frodo's moans getting closer together as he neared climax.
Then he stopped. Frodo looked at him in confusion. He couldn't help it he needed to be inside Frodo, feel his warmth he tried to explain. He ran back into the room and quickly found the oil which was always kept by the bed. Frodo, who had followed him in, unbuttoned his breeches, hands slightly shaking.
He took the oil, pouring some into his hands, lubricating himself as Frodo watched on in anticipation. He pushed Frodo onto the bed, lightly kissing his lips, then moving to his collarbone and then to his chest. Frodo rolled onto all fours, eager, waiting, gripping the pillows in front of him. He guided himself to Frodo, hesitating for a second, then entering slowly. He felt Frodo tense beneath him, gasping, then Frodo pushed himself backwards, into him, pushing him deeper. He pulled out slowly and re-entered. His speed quickened. He could feel Frodo around him, the pleasure was almost unbearable. He reached round and grasped Frodo stroking him in time with his thrusts. Quicker. Quicker. He neared climax, and then with a moan of ecstasy he felt Frodo come. This pushed him over the edge and he exploded into Frodo. He collapsed into Frodo, gently kissed his back.
They had then fallen asleep Frodo holding him in his arms. Then morning came. Frodo had announced he was leaving. There had been tears from everyone, but no-one could be feeling what he was feeling now, the dismay, anger, sadness. Frodo would not look him in the eye, obviously realising the hurt he had caused.
It wasn't until he was just about to get on the ship, and they were saying their goodbyes. They hugged, longer maybe than he had hugged the others, closer perhaps. He pulled back, looking into Frodo's face, silently pleading with him to look him in the eyes. Frodo answered his plea, their eyes met. And he saw in those seconds that Frodo was feeling the same pain. Why didn't he stay then? Why must he still leave? He let go though, saying nothing, watching as Frodo slowly walked away. Never to return.
Yes, he missed Frodo, but Samwise Gamgee would always have the memory of that night to remember him by.

that was a hit into my stomach...
really kind of sad, yes.
the "dirty" scene was so fast and ... it seemed to me like you tried to run away from it  but it was still good, brave! ^^
Nice fic ^.^

Why were you hit in the stomach?
Because of the sadness or because of the awfulness of the sex scene xDD
Yes I was trying to run away from it, far far far away.
mistofstars - November 4, 2007 01:11 PM (GMT)

Tirananniell - November 4, 2007 01:13 PM (GMT)

mistofstars - November 4, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
that's strange
I always read my fics because I have to be sure about them or to check if they are good and stuff
Tirananniell - November 4, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
Well yeah I reread it straight after writing it, to check and stuff, but I can't reread it now. I find it embarrassing and cringing xD
mistofstars - November 4, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
