For some reason I thought Aragorn was in the month of Juky...I think that's becuase I was born in July and I remeber giggling a ton at having The King as the FoM for my month of birth. Whatever works for the rest of 'yea though, I'm not complainin' :)

Well, since no one else seems to be here yet, let's say we move Aragorn to July (my b-day month too!), and make Theoden the FOM for April?

I am thrilled Theodred made the list as well. He is rather hot too. I am fine with Eowyn being on the list. She is hot. She kicks ass. She is a woman. There are always going to be a few characters in the list that someone doesn't like. I personally am not particulary fond of Denethor, Gamling, Hama or Isildur but oh well. Each to their own.

I'm with BirdMan 100% on this one. As it's Theoden month how about some Theoden/Aragorn fics dammit? They're haven't been any in the archives for, well, ever. Or have there? Am I just a bit too scarily obsessed by the thought of Aragorn and Theoden getting jiggy with it? I've just got this thing about Theoden, I can't put my finger on it. And Aragorn, well, I've loved him ever since I shimmied past the local bookshop in October 2001 and saw a lifesize cardboard cut out of him on display in the window :sweet: . I obviously must have a thing about Kings, men with power etc. :king:

Just thinking - why is it there is so little Theoden/Aragorn slash? what is it about them? I mean...it can't be that bad, nor that rare, just look at the number of people here that want it, someone please tell me why??

Perhaps people are turned off by the age "thing." Theoden is incredibly sexy, but in light of all the younger men about I think he gets overlooked. :hide:

I think most of his appeal comes in his character, his poise and nobility entwined with his very passionate nature. He's one of the most complex and well developed characters (definitely better-developed than Eomer, if I dare say). This can be hard to bring across though, esp. when we're talking about sex.

I've taken a crack at it, though, 'cause man deserves his due. :king: I cheated a bit though. . .but you'll see what I mean in a few days. It's currently being beta-ed.
