I am sure some of you guys have played this before. This is the famous on-line riddle, with 81 levels. I've made it to level 9! (And it took me two days.)

It's highly confusing but strangely fun. I want to get other people involved so we can start trading..."hints." :lol: No, no, I don't want to cheat! Never! :rolleyes:

So, have a try and tell me what you think. It does take some internet and computer skill.

I'm stuck on Level 4... I tried lightening up the image in photoshop, but nothing appeared :blink:

(I don't have photoshop or anything, i just Ctrl+A the entire page. If you look closely, you will see your clue (once you know it's there, you can see it directly as well, but it's faint))

OK, so I've clicked on something, and it's asking me for my username and password. Do I have to register at the site or does it provide one for me somewhere on the page? I've inverted the picture colours, highlighted everything, but I cant find anything!

EDIT: ~ Does it have something to do with the dots on the bedside table? If it's computer code, I'm screwed.

Well, ok, I'm at level three, the first thing I did was save the picture and look at the "negative" image of it, the inverted image (since "negative" thing of a picture in my language means just that) I found nothing... So I got my google-buddy out and typed "Du bist immer so negativ" I know this is the way to do it, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do now?

What am I supposed to see/do/find :huh: Am I supposed to click on a certain link? Or what? I feel rather dumb now, :(

EDIT: Mmmh, ok no google, but "check the URL" is it because my native language isn't english or is it because I'm blind but I don't understand what they mean. Ah well, I'll figure it out eventually and if I don't I can always chuck out my computer ^_^.

You are on the right track. I think you are thinking too much. Make sure you pay attention to the URL and the source code on every level. And quit being so negative! <--HINT. :lol:

THIS IS SO NOT FAIR *grunts* I actually tried THAT already!! And it said the page didn't exist. No wonder I couldn't find it, stupid URL.

The bit after the thing you have to do something with wasn't there before in my URL, god knows why and now it is, that's why it didn't work, :/

EDIT: Is it normal that I can't see the source code? Because I just clicked the thingy to see the source code and it doesn't work. Or doesn't it allow you to see certain source codes on certain pages?

Er, a tip for everyone:

Each time you get a username/password for a riddle level, SAVE IT. 'Cause the puzzle doesn't save itself or anything like that. You'll have to figure/enter everything again. I had made it to level 9 and now I've forgotten the username/password to get there. LOL.

You should be able to see a source code for each page. I have used IE and AOL's web browser [I think AOL uses Netscape's browser now] and they've both showed the source code. Make sure you don't try right click the image and find a source code, but the white area of the webpage itself. If you are doing it right, maybe it's your browser?

Oh and did you get to level four? I think level four is a great one. Good luck.

Right, so I've found a creepy music file, which is telling me something, but I've used all possible combinations of that and what I found in the source code for the user name and password, but I STILL DONT GET IT!
