I'm curious about how often party issues tend to creep into local elections. I would expect that, in areas that are solidly Democratic (like mine) or solidly Republican, party affiliation is rarely a factor. By contrast, I would think it's more of an issue in cities, counties, or districts that are more evenly split.

But here's your chance to prove me wrong! biggrin.gif
