It was an honor to represent the Kentucky Patriot Guard members and present Operation Homefront with a $1695 donation to the Ft Campbell Wounded Warriors Project. (This took them over the $5000 mark and qualified them to receive a matching $5000 from the National Operation Homefront office!!!!.)

We also visited with Mr Jack Dalby at the diving quarry in Hopkinsville. He is a retired SF diver who has been donating his time and talents to teach scuba diving to the wounded.

I just cannot come up with enough adjectives to describe dedication of 1sgt Stuart, Jack Dalby, Marie Carrington, and Vicki Sarricino.

Many times we think of things that could or should be done for the troops and their families. I can tell you first hand these folks are determined and will get them done..and I look forward to helping them however we possibly can.

I can not tell all of you how much I am humbled and Thankful to know you. Don, Brooks and Debbie, you are the reason America's young men and women do what they do. I thank you, members of the Ky Patriot Guard and friends for the donation to Operation Home Front. It will go a very long way in helping our wounded Soldiers and their families. Marie and Vicki are doing a marvelous job, I am just along for the ride and the strong Back..LOL. I was happy to share my home with you and now that you know where it is, I don't expect you to be a stranger when you come into town. Thank you Don for giving back the flag with the beautiful case, it will always be special to me, not becuase it flew in Iraq, but becuase you took the time to make a case and give it back. Thank you.
