All Veterans Reunion May 9-11
Music, speakers, vendors at Capital Plaza in Frankfort

(FRANKFORT, May 5, 2008) - Join veterans of all ages, their families, friends
and neighbors this weekend for live music, food, vendors, speakers, special
services and more at the Kentucky All Veterans Reunion at the Capital Plaza.

Events begin Friday evening with an 8 p.m. Candlelight Service at the Vietnam
Memorial on Coffee Tree Lane, followed by music by the Bonnie and Dave Duo
from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Capital Plaza.

On Saturday, opening services will be held at noon at Capital Plaza. There
will be memorial services at the Persian Gulf Memorial at Juniper Hills Park
at 1:45 p.m., and at the Vietnam Memorial at 3 p.m.

Festivities continue at Capital Plaza with music by Steve Price and the River
Rats from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. Jordan Young will sing at the opening
ceremonies on Saturday and at the Persian Gulf Memorial service on Saturday.
Frankfort Mayor Bill May will be a special guest speaker.

The event closes Sunday morning with a non-denominational church service at
10 a.m. at Capital Plaza.
