The Kentucky Patriot Guard was formed by members of the Patriot Guard Riders who felt the Mission to honor and support the troops and familes could be better served by a local organization. We are proud to continue the patriotic mission first established by the members of the Kansas American Legion Riders who founded the Kansas Patriot Guard in August of 2005.

The Kentucky Patriot Guard is a patriotic group of concerned citizens that have joined together to promote patriotism and show support to the armed forces. We accomplish this by displaying the United States flag at military funerals, homecomings, and deployments. As public debate and media attention question our involvement in the middle east, we feel it is our duty to stand as a reminder; the troops have sworn an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States and obey the orders of the President and officers appointed over them. These young men and women do not choose where they fight, or how long they will stay. They are in harms way because we as a nation put them there. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid, but we can take a few hours of our time to acknowledge the sacrifices they make on our behalf.

Our Mission is simple; "Let them know we care". Our method is simple; proudly display the United States flag. We invite everyone who feels the troops should have unconditional support to join in our effort.
