Within these terms 'we' is to be known as The Admin Team of Horror 101.

We do not ask members to be 18 years of age, although that is preferred. We will ask, however, that members of any age be mature enough to handle the content on these boards.

Swearing is allowed within these forums, but we do not want to see swearing on every second word. We do not want to spend our time editing people's posts because of it. If it gets to be a problem we may have to censor some words and we really don't feel like we should have any need to do that. The Admin Team here believe in freedom of speech, as long as it's within reason.

New members are not permitted to sign up with obscene usernames. You will be asked to sign up again and your old username will be deleted. We do not mind swearing, but we do not want to see it in usernames across this forum. The same applies for avatars, signatures and your profiles - please do not intentionally offend other members with your actions.

If you have a problem with another member then please either ignore them, act civil towards them or contact Admin. It will be dealt with. Flaming is not allowed on this messageboard.

SPAM is not acceptable. Nonsense posts are allowed, as long as they're at least humourous. If not, they will be considered SPAM and it will be deleted.

If you can, post in the correct forum. We all get confused sometimes and it's okay to post elsewhere to where it should be, but please don't do this on purpose. It will confuse other members.

Do not hotlink pictures to space you don't own. By all means save the picture to your computer and upload it to somewhere like a MSN Group, but do not directly hotlink to sites that you have no control over what is added. Contact us if you need help with having something hosted.

This is a horror forum and as such some posts may include swearing and graphic details of things you may be uncomfortable with. If you don't like a post we suggest you simply don't read it. That's the best advice we can give you.

To be a member here you must respect the Admin and Moderators. It is within our right to ban members should we think there be due cause. This is in the interest of the whole Horror 101 Community.

If something is 'broken' on this forum, we ask that you write a message in an appropriate forum or send Admin a PM so we can deal with it. We have not tested every feature out so sometimes we will need the help of members to make sure things are working how they should be.

Enjoy yourself! This forum was created to have fun. As it's a rule, you must have fun! We won't take no for an answer on that one.

Thank you for joining and taking a look at the rules. You will find that we are very fair as long as you respect all the members here. Be polite and friendly and you will get the same in return.

If we find that someone is intentionally disobeying the rules then we will write a message on the forum. If a person is still making trouble we will send a PM. The time after that we will send an email. After those warnings we will decide on further action. Repeat offenders will be banned. That is as fair as we can be.
