Welcome to the Hogwarts Journey! Today is 1 September 1996. It is a dreary sort of day with a steady drizzle falling. The temperature is mild, at about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It will drop to about 64 at night.

Note: This board is currently in the process of construction; hence the lack of information and the missing forums. If you wish to apply anyway, make your way over to the application forum and answer every field. The rules and regulations are posted in their very own forum. If you have an inquiry about the board, e-mail Tricia at all4truth@excite.com

This is a RPG set in Harry's 6th year. The board shall be centered around 6th years, and therefore you may only apply for a sixth year at the present. Thank you. Happy applying!

I was just wondering why I can't use a picture as my signature... I'm hosting it, so its my bandwidth being used. It just says 'user posted image'. sad.gif

Also: will senior students take the same classes as junior studens? Only, I don't think Ron would be taking potions again (while it's been revealed that Harry WILL, but I forget where). smile.gif I know it'll probably be a while before classes start, but I was just wondering.

As sixth years, your characters get to pick their classes. Harry, in Potions again? He got an O on his OWL? Snape must be shocked!

As fr the image issue, I've no idea what is going on with that. Let's jsut say I'm still in the "experimenting" phase of running a site on invisionfree. I'll try to fix the image blocking, if i can.

Thanks! I found that out from the transcript of J.K's Edinburgh Book Festival. She doesn't say it outright (the full transcript is at [url]http://www.jkrowling.com/textonly/news_view.cfm?id=80[url]) but she says
QUOTE
{question}How do you make up the weird names for the potions?

{JK}Sometimes invention gives out. I was writing the latest chapter of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I needed to come up with another name for another potion. I sat for ten minutes at the keyboard then I just typed “X”. I thought, “I’ll go back and fill that in later.” Sometimes you really want to get on with the story. Sometimes names just come to you, which is a great feeling, but sometimes it is difficult and you have to batter your brain for a while. Sometimes it comes to you while you are washing up or on the loo or something. My husband is quite used to me saying, “Wait!” then running up stairs and writing something down.

While it isn't concrete evidance, I say its enough. If she's writing about potions where she has to think up a new name... it might not be, but I'd say that was evidance enough. tongue.gif

I can read that, but I have trouble seeing the dark green on black.

You might want to bring up that issue with Beth, Ally, as she is doing the layout. ^.^

Question is, what have Hermione and Ron chosen as their careers. I've always imagined Hermione as a teacher, or working for the ministry on Muggle affairs or something.

Really? It struck me that they'd both be aurors with Harry, but I guess that's not possible now what with Ron supposidly not taking potions.
