FORUM GUIDELINES

Please read over these forum rules and report anyone who abuses them. These rules are created to help keep the forum a safe and friendly place. We hope you enjoy this forum and make many successful trades.


GENERAL RULES

* Swearing and putting members down is strictly prohibited. Adding this - this . or this * or anything else to make sure the banned word shows up is not tolerated. Your post will be edited/deleted. You may be warned and if you continually do so will face being suspended or banned.
* The Administrator/Moderator decisions are final. Any argument regarding a decision issued by these two groups will not be tolerated.
* For any problem with a locked/deleted thread, removal of sig etc send a Private Message to one of the Admins/moderators. Do not Start a new thread about it.
* Please be wary when giving out personal details such as addresses when trading. If in doubt it may help to check out the Member Profiles Forum where feedback is left (similar to that on ebay).
* If you have been suspended you are not permitted to make a new account, making a new account if your other is suspended is not tolerated and both your accounts will be banned.


POSTING RULES

* Please try and find the appropriate place to make a post. If we think of a better place we will simply move it to the correct forum. If you posted in the wrong forum when it is perfectly clear what the correct forum is, your thread might get locked or deleted.
* Please try to stay on topic within the posts. Do not post something totally irrelevant to the current discussion within a post. Your post may be deleted
* Double Threads - Before starting a new topic, please do a quick search to see if your topic hasn’t already posted. Double Threads will get locked/deleted by a mod/admin member.
* Thread Titles - When you start a new thread, try to pick the most descriptive title for the topic. For example, a good title for a thread when you have posters of Delta for sale would be “Delta posters for sale” a bad one would be "For Sale”.


SPAM AND PRIVATE MESSAGE RULES

* PMs are not to be used for advertising. If you are a visitor from another site, please do not use PMs as a means to tell users to check out another site or something you have for sale.
* PMs are private, but that doesn't give you the right to verbally harass another user. If you are sent a harassing PM or any PM that goes against the rules, PM a mod/admin member and they will deal with it.
* SPAM is not allowed in this forum. If you are here to only to advertise something, you are not be welcome. Your posts will be deleted. Furthemore pming members your link/item for sale to members who did not ask for it will be considered as SPAM and you will face being suspended or banned.
* Other Spamming is also not allowed. What is spamming? Spamming is the act of posting generally useless or off topic posts or threads. Likewise, one word posts such as LOL or smile.gif can be considered spam as well if done time and time again.
* Do not use this type of spamming just to get more posts and a higher rank. The point of ranks isn’t to see who can spend the most time posting useless things.
* Spammers will be warnerd and if you continue to Spam you will face being banned.


SIGNATURE/AVATAR RULES

Signature Guidelines

* Big signatures slow the forum down, especially for dial up users.
* The Signature can be in format jpg or gif
* 2 Images per signature maximum
* Image dimensions must not exceed 500x100 pixels
- If using 2 images, both combined must fall within 500x150.
- For example one 400x100 & one 100x50 is acceptable
* Your signature file size must be no greater than 100 KB (100,000 bytes)
* No obscene language or content should feature.

Avatar Guidelines

* Your avatar image dimensions must not exceed 100 x 100 pixels in size
* The following file types are allowed: .gif .jpeg .jpg .png .bmp
* No obscene language or content should feature.

* The consequence for the violation of these rules would be simply removing it, no questions asked. Please make sure your signature/avatar doesn't violate the rules.

THE MODERATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS

* The mods (moderators) and the admins (administrators) are the ones who watch over the site and run it.
* The global-moderators are mods who moderate the entire board. They can move or delete posts, merge threads and close threads as well as edit other's posts and pin/unpin threads.
* The administrators are the ones who run the boards. They have total control over the board, including making new forums, banning or unbanning users, making board-wide announcements, and putting users on or off probation.
