I think I'm going to the unthinkable (in my world) and ditch any GP next year to go to Moto.

3 Day Platinum covered grandstand is £108 in advance...that's less than I paid for Bronze GA this year...in fact it's pretty much the same price as GA with no area to use for F1. I think it is half term week as well so I can go on the Friday. It won't be quite the same as F1 but it's a weekend of motorsport that will save me a lot on F1...I think camping is £25 for the weekend (saving £20). GA is £48 for the 3 days. Good value I think...this is what F1 should be aiming towards.

I'd love to go to Mugello for the MotoGP but I'll stick with spending all my savings on F1 for now.

Really enjoying MotoGP this season; have a soft spot for Dani P but it's amazing to watch Vale go.

Yeah it seems good fun...though I would still be gutted not to see F1...if I do it will be a summer hols one I think that I can relax and enjoy. It won't be Donnington at any rate.

I am planning to go to the Malaysian race later this year.

I've never been to MotoGP though I started watching middle of last year (having been encouraged by my daughter) and now I'm well hooked and even found myself bewailing the absence of the 125s and 250s when they went to America earlier this season. Go Vale! huh.gif

Hopefully it won't clash!
if it does then I'm going to another, perhaps Valencia at the end of the year.

I'll stick with DTM wink.gif 3 days: Gold area, plus paddock access, plus pitwalk -> €46.
Think Brands is a little more expensive though, but Barcelona is cheaper! laugh.gif

Still want to go to the TT in Assen, but at the moment I can spend my money better than on MotoGP. Especially since I don't really follow it. Just want to go there for the experience and the atmosphere, cause that's said to be fantastic in Assen!
Someday I'll managed. No clue when someday is though unsure.gif

And for as long as it's so ridiculously expensive to host a GP and for as long as people are still willing to pay the immense prices to go to F1, it'll stay so expensive and you'll get little value for money. Especially compared to other racing series sad.gif

I prefer the technical stuff in F1 and the amount of it...I'd never claim Moto was better than F1 but in terms of a social motor sport gathering it might be worth a look!

I like MotoGP although I don't like that Rossi wins all the time. I know it's strange coming from a Schumi fan, but oh well, I liked Michael and I don't like Rossi that much, so I guess that's the difference.

I support Jorge Lorenzo.

I've got my tickets to go on Sunday!! Hoping Vale will win and win the championship too of course. Never been to MotoGP before, though I usually try to watch it subject to the vagaries of our local tv coverage.

I also have a sneaking liking for Simoncelli - no there is no explanation for that.

Anyway really looking forward to it.

Oh and my ticket cost RM80 so with parking that's about 15 pounds for a main grandstand seat for Saturday and Sunday! And its free seating so I plan to get there early and bag a good view of the pits and podium - hopefully!
