The view from up here...

[Fuuga]

Fuuga stared at the vast expanse of ocean in front of him. The observatory never failed to give him much needed room to think.

yare yare... looks like we have long days ahead of us. The Egon sensei is practically dead bored at the moment.

The observatory stood silent against the relentless pounding of the wind. Enjoying his small measure of peace, Fuuga closed his eyes.

"It can't be helped then..." he muttered as he took an opportunity to take a nap while things are not yet that busy in the islands.

[Lotus]

Lotus made her way towards the seemingly dozing figure, making sure her presence was sensed. She's one to know about some of his impulsive habits, some involving kunia throwing to stealthy passers by.
"Enjoying the peace, huh?" she grinned broadly to the 'napping' sensei. "Well you better, you have a hectic month coming. Fresh meats entering the academy. Heard there are more women this year." She continued while nudging Fuuga suggestively.

[Fuuga]

"Can't a man enjoy an afternoon nap?" he complained as he got up. "You are always good in your timing Lutos-sama."

"New students eh.." Fuuga scrathes his head. "More headache for me..."

"I do hope we'll have promising students."

Knowing full well that he can't return back to his nap, after having been disturbed like that. Fuuga pondered at what they may expect in the coming days.

"It can't be helped then.." he whispered.

[Neko]

"nyaaahhhh!, Fuuga-kun!!!!!!"

A big grin plastered upon her face as she waved to her fellow teacher. Neko is in a good mood today, which is always, for new applicants are signing up the academy and Neko love new students.

" New students are coming!!!! Isn't it grand!! Ne, Fuuga-kun?"

" This going to be good school year" she grinned.

She hurridly skip towards Fuuga, then stop upon seeing the School Head.

"Wheeee!!! Lotus-sama!!!! We've got new students!!!! hihihhihihi..." she said hyperly.

[Fuuga]

Great ... the cat decided to drop by.. There goes my peaceful afternoon nap...

"Well since you're in the mood, Neko. I believe it would be fit that you'll be the one in charge of welcoming the students then." he grinned. "Am sure you're much too enthusiastic about being the head of the welcome wagon."

Fuuga then noticed the setting sun in the horizon.

"Why don't you ladies stay here and chat while am off to check something in Jurei."

[Lotus]

"Oh? So you were seriously 'napping'?" Lotus' face faulted quizzically.

"Oh! Sorry about that Fuuga-dearie" the half-sincere apology was coupled with a fanny hand.

"nyaaahhhh!, Fuuga-kun!!!!!!" Lotus couldn't help but smirk upon hearing another faculty member arrive. She sat silently and amused herself with the scene.

"Wheeee!!! Lotus-sama!!!! We've got new students!!!! hihihhihihi..." she said hyperly. In her mind flashed profiles of new applicants, it worried her that there were none, as of yet, seemed to have passed the Egon standards.

"Why don't you ladies stay here and chat while am off to check something in Jurei."

"What? Why in such a hurry, Fuuga-sensei? Stay for a while, don't be so anal.."

"Neko-sensei, stop terrorizing Fuuga." Lotus lightheartedly reprimanded.

[Fuuga]

"Hookay.." Fuuga raised a brow after hearing Lutos. I knew that taking a nap here was such a bad idea..

"Naah.. I need to go see somebody in Jurei. And it may be best if I go see those applicants myself." He answered to the school head.

[Neko]

"Nah, Even if I want to FuUGA-kun, I wont" she replied grinning. " It's a job that Lotus-sama appointed to you and I don't want to be dragged by taking that from you, ne?


"Neko-sensei, stop terrorizing Fuuga."


"I wasn't terrorizing him, I'm just greeting my favorite coworker Lotus-sama" she pouted. "Is that a crime?" T_T

"Riiiiiiight, Fuuga-kun?"

[Fuuga]

"You want me to welcome the new students?" Fuuga sarcastically inquired at Neko. "You sure that would be a good idea?"

"Besides, I have important matters to attend to in Jurei. So be my guest, Neko"

[Lotus]

"...what important matters? You're not just making it up to escape from us are you?" She tsked before diverting her attention to Neko.

"You're choking the man, Neko-sensei". Lotus pointed out. The egon stood with a sigh and continued, "It’s always been me or Neko who does the welcoming. Potential students should get acquainted with the other members of the faculty." She eyed Fuuga with hidden malice.

"Besides, I think it’s nice to terrorize students for a change, show them we mean business. And who's better at it than you, ne, Fuuga-sensei?"

"What do you say, Neko-sensei?"

[Neko]

"i say, You GO FUUGA-KUN!!!" she jumped in excitement.

"Fuuga, fuuga.... GO GO GOOOOOO!!!!" she chanted taking a basketful of confetti from her pocket and showered Fuuga with it.

[Fuuga]

"Don't blame me later. Like I didnt' warn you." Fuuga replied to Lotus. "I won't guarantee that there will be students left after am done with them." he gave an evil grin.

"And about important matters in Jurei. Am sure classess will not start if much needed supplies are not ready." he added.

"Apparently, am the ony one who knows his way around Jurei's marketplace in which we could get much needed supplies at a cheaper price."

"It also comes with me meeting a contact there regarding important information of which I will discuss to you guys when the right time comes. It's a vital piece of info that is a bit important to this school also."

"So sure... lemme welcome the new students. Lemme go to Jurei and get supplies as well. Let me meet with my contact as the same time. While you ladies stay here and chat." he gave a smile while preparing to leave.

"Am sure there are other things you girls would want me to do at the same time eh?" he gave a look at Neko. "Well?"

[Lotus]

“Wow, I’m stunned.” Lotus shook the stunned expression on her face. “Not just because, you actually pay for supplies, while I get em for free, but by the work load you have.”

“Damn Fuuga, you are sooo under paid”. Lotus noted under her breath. “Ah, well… fine you can go~.” Lotus waved in dismissal and chuckled, “someone has to be responsible among us.” She gave Neko a sly stare.

[Fuuga]

Fuuga knew pretty well that the "supplies" he was referring to was different. Something which cannot be considered a basic necessity for the school but is vital to the schools existence. And such things are not that free at that place and era. Not even to the richest and powerful men on Earth.

"Not everything here is free, and you know that." Fuuga replied to Lutos with a smile.

"Anyways, I better be going now..." the Egon-sensei sudenly vanishes in front of them.

Fuuga movement down from the observatory was invisible to the naked eye. The Egon-sensei's speed had always been his forte.

Gaaddd.. women.. he made his way towards the docks of the island. The afternoon is almost over and he caught the last trip back to Jurei island.
