Rendezvous

[Lillium]

"Aaah... this is perfect."

For the first time in the entire day, Lillium felt as if things might just go according to plan after all.

She has secured the area.

All that's needed now are the crew.

She went across the room to an open window and took out a small instrument. Putting it to her lips, she piped a tune.

In a few moments, birds came toward the window.

To each of these, she placed invitations.

"I hope this works..."

She said as she watched the birds disappear one by one... bringing her message with them to the different parts of the island... maybe bringing them to other islands as well.

"Tonight--- It has to be tonight."

[Rune]

Rune was grouchy this morning. She was late for everything. From getting up late, taking in her usual coffee late, and even late for the biggest event so far since she got here.. her best friend's birthday surprise.

This sucks she though, holding on to a small paper bag that contained what was suppose to be a piece of cup cake from yesterday.

she stood out side the little restaurant. not sure whether it was okay to go in... she was missing one sock.. and her kick shoes were drenched.

"Lil!?" she called, hoping she wasn't late. "are you there????" :huh:

[Lillium]

Lillium's thoughts must have drifted off, for she didn't notice the time pass as she stood at the window gazing at nothing in particular.

What broke her out of her reverie was a faintly annoying sound... something like a drunk girl's yelping.

"Lil--"

From her place up on the 3rd floor of the inn, she looked down and saw Rune.

Excitedly, she leaned out the window waving her arm.

"Up here!"

[Rune]

"Up here"

she looked up, for a min. the brightness from the sun, flooded her vision, and it sort of hurt. she wince. then blinked a few, Lilium was waving.

"EY!" she yelled. " ermm... wet shoes!"

[Lillium]

:sigh:

"I don't care. Just get your butt up here now!"

Thinking about something she could have forgotten, she called back down again.

"Did you bring the stuff?"

[Rune]

stuff? she tighten her grip around the little paper bag she held... did she mean the decorations?

"I ah.." she started waving her hands, like trying to say something.. " I ahh.. yeah, but I its .. well.." she sighed. giving up.. " can I just get up there?" she held up the bag, hopefully she'd think it was the stuff. " yeah, got it!" she grin..

[Lillium]

Please don't tell me she FORGOT the decorations?! she thought to herself.

"ohh.... "

"Fine... just get up here now."

[Rune]

she headed upstairs and pulled open the door.
"heya!" she waved. " you know.." I started, walking across the room. " I was thinking.. who needs decorations, right? when she has us?" :fufu:

[Lillium]

"Yeah... I'll hang YOU on the wall... see how that works"

sighing she continued. "So exactly what did you bring? I'll order food and drinks..."

She paused for a while and thought... "really no nothing ? How bout you wait here while I order food and drinks downstairs and try to find some decors or something... I might run into some people too hopefully."

[rex]

A bird.

A dead...fucking bird.

Rex stared at the ground where the lifeless feathered creature was sprawled. Just a moment ago he had flicked a dice at a citrus fruit (vitamin C helps the body maintain healthy tissues and a strong immune system, he read somewhere) and was suprised when it started to rain bloodied feathers.

"Tch."

Crouching to the ground he picked up the bird by the tip of its only remaining wing and examined it. His dice went through and took half of its fragile body, one wing included and a part of its once beautifully colored head...including a feather tuft.

"...well, what the hell." He stared lazily at it, "Sorry little guy...or girl, i never really wanted any orange." he shrugged, "...well, you can blame old lady V, the vitamin C was her idea on the first place." he was about to toss the bird away when he noticed something attached to it.

The note was an invitation to some random Egon student about some random party that was going to be held in Jurei today. A grin slowly grew on his face. Tossing the bird aside he dusted his cargo pants and pocketed both hands.

"Just in time for lunch."

[Lillium]

A couple of hours later, Lillium landed quietly back on the floor after attaching the last piece of decoration on the ceiling.

She looked at the whole room.

It had a cozy feel to it with pieces of cloth splayed across the ceiling with a warm color combination.

On the floor were some bean bags, and the table at the far corner was laden with food.

She watched, amused as Rune kept on pulling furnitures to and fro.

Music is ready... it will be played when she's arrived.

Rex slowly opened the door and peeked in.

"Music huh." He murmured. "...the hells the food?" he lazily scanned the room and saw Lillium.

"...yo."

[Lillium]

Lillium popped the cannister of tensils into the guy' face out of surprise...
then pulled him in...

"If you're here for the surprise party... be quiet... we gotta wait for the bday girl"

[Rune]

She just got out the Comfort room, all sparkly now. it shocked her for awhile to see everything in place, then she shrugged, who knows mess better than Lilium.

"I got cupcake" she announced. "But its not so nice anymore."

her eyes strolled over the new comer "heya"

"it could look cute..."

She looked at the stranger she pulled in...

"You are???? anyway...here..."

she placed a small can of confetti in his hand...
