Lailah cursed as she realized she hadn't even bothered to cover her tracks...she hadn't even thought about it. She grudgingly admitted that the other had a point in his theory. Crossing her arms she stepped away from the bushes, glancing around.
"Why follow me though? I'm not even the top of the top..." With a sigh she sat down on the grass, forgetting all about her lessons now, "It just doesn't make sense, and it's not that amusing Rex. Maybe we should go to Fox-sensei...tell him about this."

The class E laughed, "Tell him about what? egon students sneaking around rembrandt territory?"
Rex turned full body towards Lailah, "You dont get it Lailah, as long as they dont get caught it doesnt matter, its thier risk going over here for whatever bussiness they have, its our job to watch over our back, that is how it has been and that is how it will be."
Pocketing both hands the class E gave a heavy sigh, it was clear that somethings going on, perhaps some egon fucks plotting some mischief, but whatever it was it wasnt his bussiness, not that he cares. Lose some, gain some, he had been over thier territory, so its only fair they do thier part. Besides, if there's no such thing as ploying against each other, then what fun is there left for him?
And he wasnt the right person to complain, he had his part of mischief.
Rex eyed Lailah, then a grin grew in his face. "...thought you're dragging me back to class?"

"Well we should say something...if they have students following us then we need to know why." Lailah argued, still rather bothered that she hadn't noticed that she was being followed. She turned to Rex, "It's a good idea to at least make a report of it..."
This was an odd incident, she really had never delt with nin from other schools here. She'd heard the stories of such incidents, but this had thrown her off a bit. The girl was soon lost in her own thoughts before Rex spoke up.
Looking at him oddly she remembered quickly why she was there, "Forget it...you obviously want to waste your life like this. I'm letting you go for today..."

"Pft, yeah, you can always drag me back to school if you want to." Sarcasm was dripping in his words. Rex grinned at Lailah then approached her, it was obvious that something was going on his head.
"saaaay...you're already late, why not spend the afternoon with me."

"I said forget it. You got lucky today...but don't think you've won. One of these days I'll get you into class and on time." Lailah threatened, taking a few steps as if she was going to leave, stopping when Rex approached. The look in his eyes was something that made her a bit cautious, one couldn't be careful with tricksters...
The invitation to spend the afternoon together was not what she'd planned though. She fidgetted a bit, not really knowing how to answer to that. Morning classes were already over, and in truth she highly doubted the teachers would care if she missed a day.
"Why? I mean why would you want to hang out with me? After all I am an ass-kisser according to you...wouldn't that be troublesome?"

"troublesome?...maybe." The class E replied, "...or fun, it depends on how things go between us." Rex pulled two bars of chocolate, he flicked one to Lailah and started to unpack the other using his teeth.
For a moment the class E stared at Lailah, then he chuckled.
"You're still here. Does that mean you're interested?"

Lailah caught the bar of chocolate and looked at it for a moment before she tore open one end of it, folding back the wrapping before she took a bite of it. Turning she walked back towards the edge of the pond, sitting down as Rex asked about her interest in his offer.
"A few hours couldn't hurt, it is not like I will be getting into any trouble by skipping." She murmured before laying back on the grass, taking another bite of the chocolate.
